A bunch of spoilers below for ABC’s shows in May, including season finales and series finales in the case of “Desperate Housewives.”
Both “Once Upon A Time” and “Grey’s Anatomy” are said to having shocking deaths in their season finales. In the case of “Grey’s” it’s not only a major character, but a permanent death. I’m going to guess it will be Adele.
On “Castle” Beckett gets close to learning who shot her, while Castle realizes he may have to come clean with her about his own deception.
On “Private Practice” Amelia goes into labor on the season finale, while Addison must once again make a difficult choice.
On “Revenge” and explosive finale leaves many lives in the balance!

GCB: Amanda, Amanda, Dear Sweet Amanda!
Posted by Dustin on 04.15.2012 at 12:20 pm
This past weekend was a double douse of the “GCB” and I loved every minute of it! Eric Winter (“Days” and “Brothers and Sisters”) has joined as Carlene’s brother, and new love interest for Amanda. This of course has sent Carlene into frenzy mode.
A lot has been going on down in Dallas. Carlene’s Uncle’s bitter wife died, and now he’s proposed to Gigi. At first she didn’t want to give up her independence, but eventually said yes because she loves him, and he had another health scare which shook her up. I don’t see this story ending happily ever after though. I think Gigi is too independent, they can’t have her married and moving in with someone else right now. Plus Bruce Boxleitner has only been billed as a guest star so far.
I liked seeing a bit more of Zach and Sharon in the latest episodes. Sharon’s new “Jesus Diet” business is hilarious, but I sure wouldn’t want to eat some of that food she’s making!
I thought Carlene’s wedding vow renwals were ridiculous. I would have rather seen the “Star Wars” wedding that was referenced in the show by Cricket.
Cricket and Blake trying to have a baby was hilarious, especially when they had the bad reaction to the “horny pills” he got for them. Then of course Spartacus making them both hot and bothered was great!
I can’t wait for tonight’s episode where we get to see Cricket (Miriam Shor) sing . . . and beat out Carlene for the lead in the church play. Carlene is going to fume! I am assuming this happens simply from the photos from the episode.
They teased so many episodes ago that Amanda’s husband may still be alive. Was it just Ripp and Carlene’s hopefulness? Amanda seems to think he’s dead. However I could see him returning and putting a crimp in Amanda’s new relationship.
ABC Late April Spoilers + Casting News!
Posted by Dustin on 04.10.2012 at 7:00 pm
So a good number of spoilers for some ABC shows coming up, but first a few other tid bits.
Dana Delany’s “Body of Proof” ends it’s second season tonight. No news yet on a season three, but I’m crossing my fingers as it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any answers about Megan’s dad in the finale. Who knows, I could be wrong though. Delany won’t be off the TV for long though. TV Line has revealed she will return to Wisteria Lane for the season finale of “Desperate Housewives,” reviving her character of Katherine Mayfair.
I still haven’t seen ABC’s new show “Scandal” yet. So many shows finally began returning this week, so I haven’t fit it in yet. So I’m waiting to see it before I decide if I should add it into the site.
ABC’s new comedy “Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23” also begins airing this week (tomorrow actually). The first two episodes have been online for viewing, and I have the say the show is very funny. Tune in if you have time.
Now as for the spoilers in this batch . . . .
On “Private Practice,” Pete and Violet enter counseling . . . and Addison has a new man in her life?
On “Revenge,” Emily learns who murdered her father.
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” Debbie Allen returns as Catherine Avery, while the residents take their boards.
On “Once Upon A Time,” Pinnocchio’s back story is revealed in fairytale land. Who is he in our world though? (Many think Augustus is Pinocchio, some have suggested it’s Dr. Whale at the hospital.) Oh and Regina sets her sites on David?
On “GCB,” it’s a “True Blood” reunion via this week’stars! Oh and the girls have a cook-off.
On “Desperate Housewives,” Renee learns Ben has been lying to her about “the body!”

GCB – Marriage Counseling
Posted by Dustin on 03.19.2012 at 8:08 pm
The latest episode of “GCB” has Amanda helping out Heather, who was trying to land a new client . . . as well as a boyfriend. They went to what they thought was a singles meet and greet, but turned out to be a relationship camp with Amanda’s enemies as the “Marriage All-Stars.” This of course was hilarious, as each of their marriages were in trouble.
Zach and Sharon worked out their issues in this episode. Zach said he didn’t want Amanda, she just reminded him of all he was back then, and all he failed to be. Awwwwwwww, kinda 🙂 I think she could become Amanda’s next friend, and another defector to Carlene’s team.
We learned that Cricket has always known Blake swings the other way. Their marriage is part business arrangement, but also she’s never found any man who loves her for who she really is, so she stays because of that . . . Kinda depressing no? Amanda keeping that secret could earn her points with Cricket.
Finally Carlene’s husband Ripp hasn’t been able to “perform” because his mind has been elsewhere. HE let Amanda’s husband Bill ponzi him out of a few million, but he suspects (at least based on some slip ups by Amanda) that Bill is NOT dead.
That actually would be a twist! I wondered how they got Greg Vaughn to play the part for all of five minutes. I mean was he that hard up for work? It would be interesting if he was still alive somewhere!
I am still loving this show . . . but feel they need to get a “Designing Women” reunion going on somehow.

GCB – I Have Received! Pilot Thoughts . . . .
Posted by Dustin on 03.04.2012 at 12:47 pm
As NBC has been doing with some of their new shows, ABC decided to put “GBC” out there in a few forms before the actual broadcast tonight. I couldn’t pass up a sneak peak now could I?
The show is about Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb) who is a Dallas native, but moved away 18 years ago when she married her husband Jack. Jack however wasn’t a great guy, got caught in a huge ponzi scheme, tried to flee with his mistress, and drove off the road because he was . . . distracted. Amanda and her two kids are forced to return to Dallas when all her husbands assets are seized. They move in with Amanda’s estranged mother Gigi (played by Annie Potts). We soon learn that Amanda was a mean girl in highschool, and the four girls she tormented the most aren’t happy she’s back . . . but their husband’s are! While she was a mean girl, she was also the girl every guy wanted to date. In the pilot Amanda struggles to get back on her feet, while her main nemesis Carlene (Kristen Chenoweth) leads the pack of old girls against her every step of the way.
I really enjoyed this show. It felt very “Desperate Housewives” versus “Mean Girls.” I’ve loved Leslie Bibb since “Popular,” adore Kristen Chenoweth and Miriam Shore (who plays Cricket), but it was Annie Potts who stole the show I. She basically plays a combination of an amped up Mary Jo and Julia Sugarbaker – the Terminator from “Designing Women.”
I definitely wonder where the show will go story-line wise. One story twist was very easy to pick up on, and the reveal wasn’t so shocking. It was pretty funny though! That’s a secret Amanda still has in her pocket by the end of the pilot. Given she’s reformed, you get the sense she doesn’t plan on using it though. A few other twists and surprises I didn’t see coming and were nice endings to the pilot.
Of course the major issue I’m having is getting hooked on the show, and not having it succeed. Shows with underlying religious themes, or very blatant ones, tend to be the target for large boycots. In fact this show already is, before anyone has even seen it. One Million Mom’s has already come out with a campaign against it. The irony is while the church is a part of the show, it’s not the entire show. The show is more about exposing hypocrisy, not Christian hypocrisy per say, but the way many tend to live and judge. Those who throw the most stones tend to live in the biggest and shiniest glass houses.
ABC More Mid-March Spoilers
Posted by Dustin on 02.29.2012 at 7:48 pm
A few more mid-March spoilers . . . in this group . . .
On “Body of Proof,” it’s another murder case, but fortunately Jamie Bamber is on as Megan’s new love interest Aidan. These two are hot!
On “The River,” the gang finds another clue that Emmett is alive, while they are stalked by cannibals.
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” Meredith returns to working with Derek, and Jackson’s mom returns! Debbie Allen guests.
On “Private Practice,” Erica begins to go downhill, while Amelia has to decide the fate of her unborn baby (uh oh, drug baby?).
On “Once Upon a Time,” Emma is forced to arrest Mary Margaret for Katherine’s murder (do they even have a body?). (Psssst! Alice in Wonderland will be coming up soon as Sebastian Stan has been revealed to be the Mad Hatter).
On “Desperate Housewives, it’s the funeral for the dead character. Rex Van De Camp and Mama Solis make an appearance!
On “GCB,” a relationship seminar causes girl (and boy?) drama.
