This week’s “Grey’s Anatomy” annoyed me more than the premier I think. Richard was alive, but was not fighting to survive. He was content to waste away and die, rejecting a feeding tube while knowing he was unable to eat on his own without choking on his food. Bailey continued to let him do this, assuming he’d have an “ah ha” moment and snap to. I think there was also an authority issue there, she felt it wasn’t her place to tell him what to do. I think there is also residual guilt over how she last spoke to him before he got electrocuted.

Meredith came in to deal with him, only to find Ross had taken Richard to task and let him put the tube in. He told him it would be easier to have him do it now instead of having to let Meredith or Bailey do it. Richard was still furious though, and told Meredith he had picked her in his will not because he thought of her as family, but because he thought she could make the hard decisions to let him die if need be, something he knew Bailey wouldn’t do. However he was wrong about her. He pretty much just tore her down and went on with his pity party. Can we trade Richard in to get Brooks back? I hate that she basically died for nothing at this point. I hope someone will point that out to him eventually.

Other going-ons, Arizona is trying to get back in Callie’s good graces, but it’s not seeming to work. Apparently she thinks she can fix what she did by putting on a sexy dress? Callie originally agreed to try counseling with her, but later told Arizona that she couldn’t do it just yet. She did however feel that Arizona needed to go by herself, that she needs to fix her problems before they can fix their problems.

Owen and Christina are officially over it seems. Christina told him that they need to try and date other people because it’s too easy for them not to move on. Owen agreed to try. You know the minute she sees him with another woman she’s gunna flip!

Joe and Alex are actually happy and having sex. The best part of this episode was Christina finding out they hadn’t been having sex, and she teased him mercilessly.
