So we are getting pretty close to the summer finales of both “Twisted” and “Pretty Little Liars”

“Pretty Little Liars” has been fairly slow as of late, but this episode got a bit exciting with the return of Jenna, who seems to be losing her eyesight? I guess the operation failed to work for her. Before we get there, Mona confessed to Wilden’s murder and of course Spencer’s mom took her case . . . she must be the only lawyer in town. This lead Hannah’s mom to get out on bail, paid by the church pastor, but she was confined to her house with an ankle bracelet. Probably not good, A is guaranteed to come after her now that she’s trapped in her house. Spencer’s mom meanwhile realized Mona’s account of what happened with Wilden’s shooting doesn’t match up with the facts, so it doesn’t look like Mona did it either . . .

Paige and Emily broke up, but not before Paige threw her an insane party which Shauna and Jenna showed up at together (what what what?). Jenna ended up being pushed into the water and almost died . . . almost. Emily saved her, and Spencer asked Shauna who they are afraid of, Alison? Shauna said Alison was dead, and it’s CeCe they are afraid of. So is CeCe the blonde who is in the Red Coat? I don’t think so, I think it’s the figure from the later books. I won’t spoil it, though my guess is most people have gotten impatient and turned to google and know exactly who it is. I think Shauna finally did put to rest any speculation about Alison still being alive . . . but HOW is she so sure Alison is dead?

By the end of the episode Red Coat was trespassing into a house and leaving something on a piano for Toby. I’m assuming it’s Toby and Jenna’s old house?

There was a bunch of Aria and her new guy, who seem to be dating now; and Ezra suing for custody of his kid . . . I’m really over that whole love story/triangle/whatever you wanna call it.

What ever happened with Alison’s mom moving back home? We never see her anymore. Nor have we seen anything about that mystery woman in black who was at Wilden’s funeral.

Over on “Twisted” everyone’s secrets finally came out. Karen had confessed to killing Regina, but everyone knew she didn’t do it and only did it to save Danny. We finally found out that Danny was given Regina’s necklace after her murder, someone planted it in his locker so he looked like the killer. When he confessed to Jo and Lacey, they were furious he lied to them and Lacey didn’t trust him at all. Jo pretty much figured it out about Lacey and Danny, and Lacey found out her dad likes dudes. Jo’s dad finally did some police work and learned the necklace looks a lot like some bizarre logo on the Desai house . . . once again everything seems to point to Danny’s supposedly dead dad, who probably isn’t dead at all. By the end of the episode Jo’s friend Rico got a video sent to him from someone who taped Danny and Lacey making out in her room . . . That kid is bad news!

EMILY FINDS A SURPRISING NEW HOME ON AN ALL NEW EPISODE OF “PRETTY LITTLE LIARS,” AIRING TUESDAY, AUGUST 13th AT 8:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Emily takes up residence amongst Ali’s things in “The Mirror Has Three Faces,” an all new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” airing Tuesday, August 13th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

Still living at a motel, Emily is taken aback when Mrs. Dilaurentis offers to let her move into Ali’s old room and is even more distraught when the other Liars insist she take Mrs. D up on her offer. Hanna explodes when it appears her mother’s recent good fortune has taken a turn for the worse. And Ezra continues to reel from Maggie’s big news when he’s dealt an even more crushing blow regarding his son.

Meanwhile, Aria makes an effort to get involved in Jake’s (Ryan Guzman) interests and finds herself with an opportunity to follow up on a lead. And “A” continues to toy with Toby’s emotions regarding his mother’s death, and Spencer is along for the ride.

THE SCHOOL HOEDOWN BECOMES THE SITE OF THE LATEST “A” SHOWDOWNON AN ALL NEW EPISODE OF “PRETTY LITTLE LIARS,” AIRING TUESDAY, AUGUST 20th AT 8:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

The school dance becomes the latest battleground with “A” in “Bring Down the Hoe,” an all new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” airing Tuesday, August 20th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

After uncovering recent evidence that suggest “A” is hiding out closer than they realized, the Liars step up their investigation into their most recent suspect. Hanna continues to crumble due to her newfound infamy as the daughter of a murder suspect. To complicate matters, Hanna is being stalked by fellow student Travis (Luke Kleintank), until she learns he is hiding a secret that may change her life.

Meanwhile, Toby continues to be manipulated by “A,” dangling insight into his mother’s death. And Ezra tries to reach out to Aria for help in dealing with his recent troubles, right when she becomes more determined to move on with Jake (Ryan Guzman), at a Western themed dance that turns into a two-step with “A.”

When the poisoning scandal comes to light in Green Grove, certain parties are dead set on getting Danny expelled for good in the episode titled “Poison of Interest,” airing Tuesday, August 13th, at 9:00pm ET/PT on ABC Family.

When Coach Chandler takes the blame for covering up the soccer team poisoning scandal, Regina’s mother Gloria (Jessica Tuck) targets Danny for expulsion, leaving even his friends unsure if they should defend him. Meanwhile, Kyle finds a troubling connection between the Desai family and Green Grove City Hall, and is even more dismayed when he learns the mayor (Christopher Cousins), has hired another investigator (Stacy Haiduk) to look into Regina’s murder. “Twisted” mystery fans, grab your notebooks! On Tuesday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, ABC Family will air a special recap episode of “Twisted” narrated by Ashton Moio, who plays Rico, Jo’s best friend and partner in crime-solving on the show.

The episode, entitled “Twisted: Socio Studies 101,” will take a look at the pivotal moments that changed the course of Regina’s murder investigation, and of friendships and romances both old and new. The recap takes us back to Danny Desai’s (Avan Jogia) first day back in Green Grove after spending five years in juvenile detention for the mysterious murder of his aunt. Immediately branded a “socio,” Danny tries to reconnect with his two female best friends from childhood Jo and Lacey (Maddie Hasson and Kylie Bunbury). He becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead in her home and the twists and turns of the murder mystery begin to unravel amidst high school romance and heartbreak and small town lies, secrets and scandal.
