First up, TNT has already renewed “Dallas” for a second season!

In the latest episode of “Dalla” Bobby planned to throw the last BBQ at Southfork before the transfer to the Del Sol Conservancy . . or so he thinks! I still have a problem with this plan, as everyone involved should end up in jail for fraud.

We learned what Rebecca and her “brother” Tommy are after, Christopher’s patent. I’m still not convinced they are siblings. I also have a hard time figuring out how he can pass off that patent as his own. How will he explain how he invented it, let alone the science and mechanics behind it? I know, I’m asking too many real world questions about a night time soap opera!

Christopher and Elena solved their issues with extracting the gas safely, but then Christopher cut her a huge check and gave her the boot. He claimed it was to protect himself and his company, so that 10 years down the line she didn’t sue for a piece of it. Really though he was trying to push her away. He seemingly made his choice and decided to stay with Rebecca, but knew he had to really hurt Elena to get her out of his life.

John Ross blackmailed Rebecca with the incriminating email. He wanted her to get photos of the family’s lawyer’s kid doing drugs. It would be his third strike, and they could use it to keep the lawyer from extorting them any further. However she couldn’t do it to the guy, who had been clean for awhile and was recently engaged. Marta stepped in and did what needed to be done.

Elena went back to John Ross and resumed their partnership, saying their relationship may come in time . . . Meanwhile J.R. used photos of them together to piss off Marta, who we learned was bi-polar and has a history of boyfriend issues. He convinced her to make a new deal with him. J.R. used the photos of the lawyer’s kid not only to blackmail him, but to cut John Ross out of the deal all together. Woah baby, this won’t sit well with John Ross when he finds out!

At the family BBQ Rebecca takes Chris aside to tell him something, the truth perhaps? I actually suspect she did not send that email to Christopher. When John Ross confronted her with it, she actually looked shocked and said she didn’t do it. I am wondering if her brother did it without her knowing? Or has someone like J.R. given John Ross just more fake evidence and he doesn’t know it?

First up there is no show this week, just a marathon. With it being the 4th of July week, I guess the network thinks everyone will be traveling or just not able to see the show.

The biggest reveal this week had to do with Melissa. While snooping in her apartment, the girls found a costume bag with a black swan feather in it . . . . Spencer confronted her sister about it and the baby. Melissa admitted she lost it right after Ian died, and she faked the pregnancy because she couldn’t deal with anything else as the press was already having a field day. Hmmmm, I am beginning to wonder if she faked the whole thing? When asked about the swan, she admitted to it and said she was supposed to distract people at the party. She said someone knew about the baby and was blackmailing her. When Mona was caught, the blackmail stopped, so she assumed it was her. Do we buy that Melissa was being blackmailed by the A team? I still suspect she’s on it!

Caleb continued to push Hannah to be honest with him. He saw no reason for her to be so secretive still since Mona was locked up. It seemed she was about to tell him the truth when she got a message from A, who said they are everywhere. A sent a photo of a car crash in Montecito. She later learned someone tried to run Caleb’s mom off the road, yup, in Montecito! When she kept quiet, Caleb broke up with her.

Jason put out a reward for Alison’s body snatcher. He’s offering 50 grand to anyone who can lead him to her body and who took it. By the end of the show he claimed to Spencer that he was calling it off, there were too many hoaxes being phoned in. However we later saw him write a check out for cash and agree to meet someone over the phone . . . Meanwhile the creepy detective is back again, and asked Spencer about her parents’ lake house, where it is and how far away . . . Could that be where A has stashed the body? It looks like the girls are about to be set up once again!

Maya’s cousin moved into town and transferred into their school. He and Emily made friends and helped each other try and move on from Maya’s death. I’m not sure what the point of this story is, but I’m sure A will get ahold of him somehow.

At the end of the show we see someone, presumably one the A team, waiting to board a flight back to Philly. They use a computer to hack into the hospital where Mona is staying. She’s been denied visitation since her blow-up at Caleb last week. The person then switches it so that she can have visitors again . . . . That tells me A has definitely been visiting and feeding Mona info.
