Glee Returns With Life Changers and More!
Posted by Dustin on 04.11.2012 at 8:00 pm
So “Glee” came back last night. Not only is it back, but we have 8 straight weeks of new episodes (well now 7) until the finale, graduation and nationals.
First up, the show has been RENEWED for a fourth season. Hurray! So it will be interesting to see how things end this season, and how some of these characters will return.
The fate of Quinn was revealed. Of course they didn’t kill her off, but she is in a wheel chair. Her spine has been compressed, but according to her the feeling is slowly combing back, and with therapy the doctors are optimistic that she’ll gain full control of her legs. Quinn did a lot of bonding with Artie during this episode, but Artie also tried to help her accept things may not work out for her. “Reggae Jesus” also felt she wasn’t dealing with such a possibility, which upset Quinn. Is she in denial? I’m not sure. I did, however, love her and Artie together. So cute!
Rachel and Finn’s wedding did not go through. Finn is also having reservations, beginning to realize their entire life is planned around Rachel and her dreams, which are only in New York. Puck has been trying to convince Finn to go into the pool boy business out in L.A., but Rachel won’t consider Hollywood. I’m not sure, but I have a feeling this is all setting things up for Rachel to not make it into that big fancy New York school.
Blake’s brother Cooper Anderson (played by Matthew Bomer) appeared in this episode. Okay, after all the hype of this, I felt let down. The guy was a self absorbed tool, but at the end of the episode claimed to Blake that all his insults were to make him better, as he knew Blake would make it big, and he just wanted to say he helped him get there . . . Blah! I feel like this story could have been far more interesting. At least their songs were great.
Sue fumed when Figgens assigned swim coach Nene to be her co-coach on the Cheerios. He felt her baby was distracting her, and he needed a win. She made a deal with him, if she got New Directions a win as well, that would bring in more money to the school . . . then she wanted her Cheerios back! Sue then took over the kids boot camp, to get them into dancing shape. Will and Emma also helped her with the baby, and went to doctor’s appointments. We learned that while Sue was having a girl, there was an abnormality in some of her tests. They never told us outright what was wrong, but it became clear later. During a scene with Becky, who heard Sue was having a little girl, Sue responded “A little girl just like you.” Awwww, don’t make me misty eyed over a Sue scene! Oh and we still don’t know who the father is, but according to Sue it is someone famous. Of course I don’t expect this peace treaty between Will and Sue to last much longer.
I think I’ve touched on all the major stories last night? The songs I absolutely loved! A great selection. Of course next week is “Disco Week!” and I cannot wait! I don’t care that the kids think Disco suck, I’m ready to shake my booty!
ABC Late April Spoilers + Casting News!
Posted by Dustin on 04.10.2012 at 7:00 pm
So a good number of spoilers for some ABC shows coming up, but first a few other tid bits.
Dana Delany’s “Body of Proof” ends it’s second season tonight. No news yet on a season three, but I’m crossing my fingers as it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any answers about Megan’s dad in the finale. Who knows, I could be wrong though. Delany won’t be off the TV for long though. TV Line has revealed she will return to Wisteria Lane for the season finale of “Desperate Housewives,” reviving her character of Katherine Mayfair.
I still haven’t seen ABC’s new show “Scandal” yet. So many shows finally began returning this week, so I haven’t fit it in yet. So I’m waiting to see it before I decide if I should add it into the site.
ABC’s new comedy “Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23” also begins airing this week (tomorrow actually). The first two episodes have been online for viewing, and I have the say the show is very funny. Tune in if you have time.
Now as for the spoilers in this batch . . . .
On “Private Practice,” Pete and Violet enter counseling . . . and Addison has a new man in her life?
On “Revenge,” Emily learns who murdered her father.
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” Debbie Allen returns as Catherine Avery, while the residents take their boards.
On “Once Upon A Time,” Pinnocchio’s back story is revealed in fairytale land. Who is he in our world though? (Many think Augustus is Pinocchio, some have suggested it’s Dr. Whale at the hospital.) Oh and Regina sets her sites on David?
On “GCB,” it’s a “True Blood” reunion via this week’stars! Oh and the girls have a cook-off.
On “Desperate Housewives,” Renee learns Ben has been lying to her about “the body!”

Army Wives: Trouble In Africa!
Posted by Dustin on 04.09.2012 at 3:40 pm
The latest episode of “Army Wives” finally gave us a much needed break from the Jackie vs Claudia Joy squabbles, but brought up much more serious situations.
In West Africa, the assassination of a president who had brought a fragile peace treaty to many warring tribes sparked an all out rebellion. On the intelligence recommendations from guest star Kelli Martin, several groups from Fort Marshal were selected to go in to try and help evacuate Americans and if possible diffuse tensions. Frank is heading over, as is Trevor and Hector (the new guy in the unit whose wife became friends with Roxie). Jackie’s husband General Clarke is also going, but Michael and Joan seem to be remaining behind. On the hospital front, Tanya is being sent over as part of the medical team.
It’s obvious Roxie is stepping into the Pamela role, and she’ll be mentoring Gloria as she sees Hector off to battle for the first time. She gave her some very practical advise, but I also wonder if it was foretelling for us. She advised her to have wills drawn up and legal guardianship of finances in place in case they were needed. Yeah, I’m wondering if Hector might not make it!
At the very beginning of this episode we saw Min Gi again. This was the woman who quit the FRG and Roxie took over for. Roxie wanted her to know she’s welcomed back any time, and that she would not let the women get out of hand. Min Gi however didn’t seem to want to return, even saying she did a bad job of things. I think there is more of a story here than we know about. I’d much rather see more of Min Gi than Gloria to be honest.
The other major story was Claudia Joy’s health crises. Emma Lynn returned, and we learned that Claudia Joy had developed kidney failure. There was nothing she could have done to prevent this, it was an unfortunate happening. She would be on dialyses 3 times a week until a kidney transplant became available, which could take years. Emma Lynn offered to donate, but she was not viable. Because of her mother’s history with diabetes, there was a chance she could develop it late in life, and she’d need her kidneys if that happened. A war injury took Michael out of the running too. In the end Denise suggested to Frank she donate. He wasn’t sure, they had Molly to think about. She said the first step would be to see if she was a match, if she was they would discuss it more. He made her promise not to exclude him in this!
Unfortunately Frank is now being shipped off to Africa. Why do I have a feeling Denise is going to use this opportunity to go through with the donation? If she does, Frank is going to be pissed!
NBC Spoilers for April: Awake, Grimm and Smash (and a few quick thoughts)
Posted by Dustin on 04.08.2012 at 5:19 pm
I am still watching “Grimm” and enjoying the show. They are finally back into more of the storyline with the detective and the blond woman/Hexenbeast from the first episode. She’s now going after Nick’s partner Hank! Juliette is getting a lot more airtime as well, realizing Nick is keeping something important from her. She told him in the last episode that she couldn’t marry him right now because he’s pulling away from her.
“Smash” I’m also still enjoying. The last episode with Julia’s marriage falling to pieces was amazing, and heartbreaking. She had it coming though! I hate that Michael Swift seems to have come out unscathed, his marriage still in tact. I also loved that Ivy and Karen started to get along in this episode. The next few episodes have Uma Therman guest staring and in talks to take on the part of Marilyn.
As for “Awake,” well I still watch, but I’m not that in love with it. It seems to move so slow, and I wish we’d get on track with this big secret about why the higher ups tried to kill Michael. It looks like that will finally be explored in next week’s episode from the previews.

Grey’s Anatomy: I See Stupid People!
Posted by Dustin on 04.06.2012 at 3:24 pm
So “Grey’s Anatomy” finally returned last night with a great episode. The episode began with Meredith seeing a lion on her way to work! At first people sorta dismissed her, but later it came in that a lion attack had occurred, and the lion was roaming the streets.
Owen and Christina’s marriage continued to crumble. While Christina didn’t want to address the affair, Owen opened his big mouth to several people. Meredith was furious to find out from him, because it’s obviously something that Christina obviously didn’t want her to know about yet as she was probably still processing what it means. Bailey told him he did a horrible thing, but he’s human, it doesn’t make him a horrible human being. I was kinda shocked, because I could have sworn Bailey’s husband ended up cheating on her? We never found out who the affair was with, but previews seemed to hint at a pretty blonde woman. I couldn’t tell if she’s someone we are supposed to know or recognize?
Teddy had to face that she was a widow, and Henry was gone. This came during a very sad case she had this week. An elderly couple taking a walk saw the lion, the man had a heart attack. The wife begged her to save her husband. It was touch and go, but he pulled through . . . only for Teddy to find the wife dead of natural causes in the waiting room. What the hell! Oh I forgot, this is “Grey’s Anatomy” where they love doing this to us.
Arizona and Callie had a silly squabble when Arizona learned Callie had dated various nurses and doctors in the hospital before they met . . . okay a whole lot of them apparently!
Lexie learned Mark had been contemplating asking the eye doctor to move in with him. She was torn as what to do. Derek told her that he believed Mark could be happy with this woman, but he’d chose her if he thought he still had a chance. He told her to think long and hard if she wanted Mark back, or wanted him just because someone else had him . . . . I’m all for this reunion, I just hope they don’t screw things up for a third time. Three strikes and it’s time to call it quits.
Finally the best part of the episode for me was Bailey! Bailey, Jackson and the Chief all worked on the lion attack victims. A woman had the lion as a pet in her 2 story home. Her boyfriend thought the lion was lunging for her and blocked it. They were both mauled. The guy was afraid his girlfriend would think he was a wussy for screaming, but Jackson and the Chief said he was a hero for saving this woman! Unfortunately she didn’t see it that way. She said the lion was playing, and he was a wussy! Jackson took a lions tooth out of the guy, and the Chief showed him the secret “idiot collection.” It’s a collection of all the things he’s taken out of stupid people’s bodies. Meanwhile before all of this Bailey went on one of her tirades about how stupid this woman was to have a lion as a pet. However just because she was stupid, that doesn’t mean they aren’t going to give her the best care and work to save her life. In fact, they are going to save her life so they can tell her how stupid she is. The whole thing was priceless!
True Blood Season Premier Date! Plus Army Wives and Once Upon News . . . .

It was announced today that “True Blood” will return on June 10th! This means we should soon be getting some of those “Waiting Sucks” teasers.
On “Army Wives,” Patti LuPone mom to Kellie Martin (who plays Army Captain Nicole Galassini) in an upcoming episode. The two once starred as mom and daughter in the his series “Life Goes On.” Also Anna Chlumsky, best known for the movie “My Girl,” is also set to star in an episode as an army wife.

On “Once Upon A Time” Kristin Bauer (Pam “True Blood”) will reprise the role of Maleficent in a May Sweeps episode, as will Emilie de Ravin (Belle).
Desperate Housewives: Bree’s In Trouble Now!
Posted by Dustin on 04.03.2012 at 8:09 pm
Well I felt this episode of “Housewives” was definitely much better than the last few. I’m glad the cops finally discussed how they had no motive for Bree, and no connection between her and the dead guy. However Vance’s old partner seems determined to pin this on Bree, and she’s determined to take the blame for her friends . . . hoping it will all be dropped when it comes out there is no case to be made. However when the one cop tampered with evidence, it looked bad for Bree. The cop blatantly wrote Bree’s address on a map found in Alejandro/Ramon’s belongings. Really? Because his hand writing isn’t already all over the case notes, and nobody will notice they are the same? At this point, with so few episodes left, I can’t figure out how this will all be resolved.
Susan learned Mike had an autistic sister that his mom hid away a long time ago and who he just recently learned about. He was keeping it from Susan, as his mother begged him to as she was ashamed of her mistake. However he had been secretly supporting her in a group home with checks every month. This lead Julie to break down and tell Susan she’s no better than Mike’s mom, she wants to give this baby up because it’s an inconvenience. She decided to keep the baby instead, which of course pleased Susan. Maybe we’ll see a wedding for Julie in the finale?
Why has nobody addressed the Zach issue? Mike was his dad too! Wait . . . I can’t remember where Zach is anymore. Last we saw him he had shot Paul.
Carlos’ machismo got the best of him, as Gabby earning money began to annoy him. He didn’t like that she had become the breadwinner, whereas she enjoyed being able to treat him to a nice night out and support their family for the first time ever. Given the Lynette and Tom situation, I can’t see them breaking up another marriage on the show.
And speaking of Tom and Lynette . . . Tom’s girlfriend is a piece of work! Tom had apparently been sitting on signed divorce papers for awhile now. It seems clear that he was either hesitant to serve them to Lynette. Was he rethinking things, or was he waiting for the proper moment. I’m going with the former. Well this annoyed Jane to no end, and she decided to just deliver the papers to Lynette. Of course she did this on Tom’s birthday, right as Lynette was baking him a green velvet cake (don’t ask!). This lead to a great fight, with Lynette splattering Jane and her nice white suit with green cake batter. She then confronted Tom, who seemed to be at a loss for words over the papers. When he couldn’t tell Lynette one way or another what he wanted, she signed the papers and gave them to him. Tom later laid into Jane, saying she had no right, this wasn’t her place. Go Tom! It’s about time he remembered where he put his balls. The question now is, will Tom file the papers? Given how Tom has been acting, I don’t know if I want him and Lynette back together. The only reason I do if for some kind of a happy ending to the finale. However if they don’t end up together, I definitely want Jane gone. She cannot win!
Once Upon A Time: Hating Little Snow White!
Posted by Dustin on 04.02.2012 at 7:15 pm
So the latest episode finally gave us the 411 on why Regina hates Snow . . . . Ehh! Before we get to that, the show started with a bit of time travel . . .
At the end of last week we learned Regina and Gold were conspiring, that Regina made a deal with him. Did you notice in Storybrook he referred to her as “Your Majesty?” I didn’t catch that until this week when they did the recap. Anyways, we learned Gold suggested this entire rouse of framing Mary Margaret and then setting her up to run, because they all know what happens when someone tries to leave town . . . It would have gotten rid of her for good. However the plan failed, Mary Margaret returned to her cell, and now Regina is furious. Gold however is promising her revenge . . . I have to wonder what is going on with Gold. It’s clear Regina has had to make yet another deal with him, but what more can she give him? What does he want? She can’t offer him Belle really, as if he knew she had Belle then he’d never work with her, he’d destroy her.
Emma and August worked together to try and prove Mary Margaret’s innocence. The DA trying to nail her is James/Charming’s father in the fairytale world. They found proof that Regina buried the box with the heart, but because Sydney had bugged Emma’s office, Regina was able to make the evidence in her house (a broken shovel) disappear by time Emma had a proper search warrant.
In Fairytale Land we met a young Snow White and Regina’s evil mother Cora. Regina was in love with the family’s stable boy Daniel, but Cora had bigger plans and aspirations for her daughter’s future. Cora wielded powerful dark magic, which Regina seems to not yet have. If she does, then she doesn’t use it. She mentioned she hates when her mother uses magic, it frightens her. What initially seemed to be a lucky accident, by the end of the show Regina realized her mother orchestrated from the start. Regina was out riding when she ran across Snow White (who as it just happened was traveling across the land with her father). Snow’s horse bolted, and Regina saved her. This lead to Snow really liking Regina, and Snow’s father the King proposing marriage to the woman who saved his daughter. We know he never loved her, but he felt she’d make a good wife and a good mother to Snow, who liked Regina. However Regina wanted to marry for love. When Snow learned this, she was hurt at first, but agreed Regina should marry who she loved. She told Regina’s mom (though Regina told her not to) because she thought Cora would understand and want her daughter to be happy. She of course didn’t, and killed Daniel. Regina was forced to marry the King, and her hatred for Snow White began . . . .
The very end of the show had Emma hearing Ruby screaming after finding someone in the back alley behind Granny’s. What appeared to be a homeless woman lying there dead turned out to be a very alive and confused looking Katherine. Guess this puts a crimp in Regina’s plans for Mary Margaret!
So as I started this post off . . . ehh! I feel like this is only the beginning, that we’ll see many more things over the years that caused Regina to hate Snow even more. At this point, rather than blame a little girl, hate your evil mother! She’s the one who did all of this. That’s why I think there has to be more that we have yet to see.
Some interesting clues I picked up. Cora had mentioned the deals she had to make to get them out of poverty and to where they are now. Could she have made deals with Rumple? It sounds like it! What deals did she make? What did she give up?
Cora ripped out Daniel’s heart, much like Regina did the Huntsman. As there seemed to be no indication that Regina has a sister, I’m going to stick with my thoughts that Cora is The Queen of Hearts. I think Regina trapped her mother in Wonderland and possibly stole her powers in order to punish her for her part in Daniel’s death.
The previews showed the writer confronting Rumple in the next episode, and we saw a flash of the knife with Rumple’s name on it. Maybe it was editing, but I think it’s more evidence that August is Rumple’s son!
*UPDATE!* Below I’ve posted the spoilers for the next all new episode . . . which isn’t until April 22nd. It’s going to be a long wait!

Army Wives: What Happened To Claudia Joy?
Posted by Dustin on 04.01.2012 at 11:15 pm
If you landed here through a google search, jump to my Season 7 Recap here . . .
Jump to Season 7 Spoilers here . . .
So WOW, I just noticed a giant spike to my blogs traffic at 10pm EST tonight . . . all stemming from “Army Wives” searches. Sorry, I just finished the show on Tivo! More than that, the official spoilers I went to read didn’t help much either as to what people were looking for. I simply assumed it was about Claudia Joy, but the spoilers tell nothing specific . . . after watching the show though, I have some thoughts!
So before we get to CJ, let’s discuss the other issues tonight. Well really the main issue tackled tonight was David’s HIV status after an incident on the playground potentially exposed another kid to infection. This led to the mother leading an uprising against David, wanting him thrown out of school and the after-school program. In the end, with Charlie’s help, and the support of the other wives and their families, the Burton’s stood their ground. Charlie brought in medical doctors to answer questions, and give statistical facts. I loved that Roland pointed out their own daughter was more at risk than their kids, a situation they’d never put her in if they didn’t know the facts. I also really liked that Roland pointed out David is more at risk of dying from exposure to their kids’ colds and flus than they are to him. Bravo for a great episode. I guess in this day and age I’m stunned people don’t know the facts? I mean if we don’t know how this disease spreads, how will we ever get rid of it? I actually wished it was pointing out that statistically, we probably each come into contact with someone on a daily basis who has HIV. Even more scary? More often than not, the infected person doesn’t even know it!
The other story in this episode dealt with Hector, one of Trevor’s men, and his very very 2-week old very new bride Gloria. Gloria did not sign up for the Army, and was contemplating leaving her husband. However she and Roxie seemed to hit it off, and when Hector was injured (well collapsed from heat exhaustion) this made her realize how much she really did love him. Awwwww . . . . I like seeing Roxie being a mentor to someone for once! She’s basically become the new “Pamela” in a way . . . not that Pamela can ever be replaced. EVER!
And now we get to Claudia Joy . . . what happened to her? Well as I started this post off, the official spoilers don’t say. They simply say it’s a complication from her diabetes, and later that it’s a medical crisis . . . which you can pretty much gather from the previews for next week. However I have some thoughts. Given the way she collapsed at the end of the show, her clinging to Michael as if she couldn’t walk, and the preview with the doctor saying “It’s irreversible” . . . well my guess is that she’s gone blind. This can happen from diabetes. This would be my guess as to what has happened.
Your thoughts?
Below are some of the spoilers for the rest April. Most of these I’ve posted before, but some I’ve added a few updates to as more official info comes out . . .
