Ringer Ends Season 1 . . . Will There Be A Season 2?
Last night was the season, and possibly series finale of “Ringer.” Ratings wise, the show wasn’t the score that was expected. Many aren’t optimistic about a Season 2 pick up. For example today Yahoo TV had a featured article Why Ringer Should Be Canceled GASP! Frankly I found this show FAR more entertaining that ABC’s “Revenge!” (BTW yes, that does return tonight.)
The finale left so many questions up in the air! Bridget finally had to tell Andrew the truth when he learned “Siobhan” had slept with Henry. He did not forgive her as she daydreamed about. In fact he walked out and took Juliette with him. Meanwhile Henry tested Siobhan about the babies and the paternity test he left for her to find. When she lied about the results and claimed it said he was the father, he knew he couldn’t trust her, and gave her the boot!
The end of the episode had Siobhan and Bridget narrowly meeting. Bridget realized Bodhoway was in town to finally get rid of her, and she did not know Andrew took Juliette to leave town for awhile. She raced to the penthouse. Meanwhile Siobhan decided to steal as many jewels of hers from the penthouse to fund her (since Henry cleaned out her bank account, the money she stole from Andrew). Bodhoway thought Siobhan was Bridget and attacked her. Bridget showed up and saw someone running from him, and thought it was Juliette. She killed Bodhoway. Later she learned that her sister was very much alive, and Henry informed her that she was out for revenge. Siobhan knew someone wanted her dead, she set Bridget up to die for payback for Sean!
And then we were left hanging . . . .
Nooooooo! I cannot accept that this show won’t get another season. I hate these kind of cliff hangers. It reminds me of awesome shows like “The Gates” and “Happy Town” which get cast off for garbage reality shows. Who cares who the Bachelorette or Bachelor picks, we know they sure as hell won’t marry that person! The winner of American Idol does nothing anymore! I think it’s time to end the reality show market. Banish them all to summer when nothing else is on 🙂 They are good filler there. Let’s bring back dramas and comedies during the fall and spring seasons!
I read that snarky article too, and I got the feeling he wanted he to go all Buffy and he was hurt that didn’t happen. Personally, I like this show better than Secret Circle. Nikita has now played itself out, so I think Ringer needs a second chance in Nikita’s spot right before Supernatural. The CW might be surprised at the ratings it gets. That guy was right about one thing though… Those 2-month hiatus things are ridiculous.

Oh I like Secret Circle way better, but it’s also on the bubble. I agree about Nikita, I can’t believe they have kept it around this long.

Not seen it yet. But I too am getting tired of all the silly ‘hiatus’ that so many series are doing, and why do I more and more feel that we have three tv seasons. One in Spring, Summer and Fall?

While I would totally be on board for more Buffy, I am excited about the prospects of another season of Ringer. I thought it was a good show and I would watch it again should it come back on! (Which I hope it does!)

I think ringer was a killer show. i hope they make season 2. it became my favorite show. they will have made a huge mistake if they dont make season 2……..the wait to see ………………..

In one episode the suspense was so real, I almost fell off of the treadmill. This is a great show and I agree get over the reality shows! Bring on Season 2…

NIKITA WAS A GREAT SHOW! its only cuz most of you idiots dont get it! and i wached all episodes of ringer and it got boring. they cant keep it up for another season. im glad it ended where it did. if they did renue it i wouldnt watch it again.

I loved ringer so much they would be damn crazy not to bring back season 2 I race home from school early at all times to watch that movie besides they can’t jus leave us hanging like that,they ave to close it brinh every thing to light an settle all suspense then close it, come on its better than most of the other rubish on air

I agree with the last part. They cancell shows like Ringer, Kyle XY, No Ordinary Family, Veronica Mars, etc. And they keep shows like The Secret Life of the American Teenager and other ridiculous shows! (If they even think about cancelling Pretty Little Liars I’m going to scream). I wish they would bring Ringer back for a season 2- I was really into that show! The first episode reeled me in right away and I wasn’t let go until the end!

For me, this is KyleXY all over…except shorter! Even though these shows may not have amazing ratings, they owe it to the viewers to end the series without unanswered questions…or at least answer our questions in another form!

Omg I can’t believe Ringer is not coming back that really upsets me I loved this show and Michelle G is one of my favorite actress. How could they leave things like that we will never know what happened I’m very upset this was a great show I’m sad to know it won’t be back…
