Parenthood: Babies Here, Babies There
So another episode of “Parenthood” and a whole lot of baby drama!
Zoe seems to get more and more freaked out about the baby as it gets closer to arriving. She ended up quitting her job and moving out, moving in with some friends – so she said. She seemed to be calling Julia from an alley with a whole lot of BS if you ask me. It makes me wonder what she’s really doing? Joel eventually confronted her saying he had to know if she was changing her mind. She claimed she wasn’t . . . but I didn’t buy that either. I just don’t think these two are getting this kid . . . I never have really.
Dr. Joe was house shopping and dropped a bomb on Jasmine, asking her to move in with him. She didn’t know what to say. She discussed it with Crosby, but said this was not about asking his permission. In the end he told her that perhaps it would be good for her. He also gave her a housewarming present, a doorknob he had made for the house he bought for them. It was made out of an old ballet bar. She was clearly touched, and I got the feeling she really wanted him to tell her NO! Don’t do it! Dr. Joe is moving a tad fast here. There is still their little indiscretion a few weeks back that I’m sure will resurface.
Crosby and Adam meanwhile played hard ball and got dirty. They stole a client away from Crosby’s old boss, something he felt really guilty about doing. He ended up drunk and ranting to his new girlfriend, but talked a little too much about Jasmine in the process . . .
Bob Little promoted Amber to his assistant, which she was a bit uneasy about, especially after he kissed her. He swore he would be professional at work, and the promotion was because she earned it. But next week the two go on a “business trip” together and Christina finally gets wind of what is going on. Can she stop them before Bob destroys his campaign? Because that is where this is headed! Though Amber finding a nice guy is long over due.
Finally Sarah and Mark told one another “I love you,” and later Sarah met all of Mark’s old friends . . . his very young friends she felt she had trouble relating to. They seemed to love her, but she was focused on how young Mark was and how she felt she was stopping him from accomplishing all his dreams. She said she is not getting any younger, and if he wants a baby it’s pretty much now or never for her . . . and she doesn’t want to feel like she’s saddling him down so early.
