The latest episode involved a Spinderella, a spider woman who shot venom into her victims mouths and then sucked their organs out through their stomachs. The women of the species need to kill ever so often, in order to stop from rapid aging. This one was married to a male, and they had a daughter. The man didn’t seem to be killing, but didn’t seem to be aging? I was confused there, or missed something. We met another one who like Monroe, had given up killing. Her name was Charlotte – get it? She had aged to a 60-70 year old, but was really only 26. She’s who helped Nick out with the case.

Overall the plot outside the crimes advanced a little. Nick is being found out by more and more of the creatures, their kids were egging his house in the episode. Nick was worried who it might get to in time, and next week it looks like that’s just what happens when he and Monroe are forced to cage fight for the bad guys entertainment. Monroe also asked Nick when he’d tell Juliette the truth about him, another little nudge with the storyline. I do hope this means we’ll return to all the plots laid out in the first two episodes we have yet to revisit.

I also kept wondering how long before Nick’s partner Hank figures something out. I mean how does Nick always end up on these weird cases, and why is he able to solve them so easily. Murder is one thing, these desecrated bodies . . . when is Hank going to start saying “This is just not normal!”
