Revenge: So Long Tyler!

Revenge: So Long Tyler!

So it’s been awhile since I blogged about “Revenge.” I missed much of the last two episodes before the hiatus, and never did fully catch up. I read some of the summaries online. It seems I hadn’t missed too much and it was easy to get back into the swing of things.

This latest episode really just served to get rid of the crazy Tyler , who Emily completely set up to go down for Frank’s murder. It was fairly easy to do once everyone realized he was mentally unstable. Though before he was carted off by the cops and his brother, he confronted Emily and the Graysons at Daniel’s birthday clam bake on the beach. He revealed he knew the truth about how they framed David Clarke. Uh oh! The real Emily was also present, still pretending to be Amanda Clarke. She’s getting a little too close to Jack for Emily’s tastes, but Emily seems to have truly fallen for Daniel. “Amanda” mentioned to Jack near the end of the show if he thinks there was any truth to what Tyler was saying about “her dad.” I have a feeling something bad will eventually befall “Amanda” as the Graysons clearly don’t like having her back in town. Emily I doubt is too keen on it, but I could see Emily betraying her and feeding her to the dogs when the time is right.

The Graysons were involved in a nasty divorce, with the wife Victoria trying to have the pre-nup declared null because she was pregnant at the time and under duress when she signed it. That was a lie, but they have a doctor they’ve paid off to say it was the truth. The previews seem to have her and Daniel scheming to take controlling interest in Grayson Global. Daniel gets his inheritance when he marries, so they are scheming to have him marry Emily. Very interesting! This whole time we have thought that the marriage was part of Emily’s plan to get back at the Graysons, when in fact they seem to be using her for what they want.
