Once Upon A Time: Cinderella Makes A Deal
So the latest episode of “Once Upon A Time” was good, but unlike the others it didn’t advance the story much. I guess even they need filler episodes though. We learned a few tidbits though . . .
Most of the story concentrated on Cinderella in the fairytale world and in ours. In the Fairytale world Cinderella didn’t have a fairy godmother, she had Rumplestilktskin come to her and offer her a deal. She didn’t bother to read the terms, signed on the line and *poof* she got her own Prince Charming. Later though when she was pregnant, he showed up for her baby.
Cinderella, with Snow White and Jame’s help, tricked and trapped Rumple. So we at least know now HOW he got into the cage under the palace. They had him sign a new deal with a magic pen. But Rumple warned that all magic had a price, in this world and the next . . .
In the real world Cinderella was a maid, working many jobs, and pregnant. Her boyfriend had left her, as the boyfriend’s snobbish dad ordered him to. She had made a deal to give her baby to Mr. Gold in exchange for money . . . but was rethinking that deal. Emma of course helped her escape and renegotiate . . . but at a price! Emma agreed to owe Mr. Gold a favor in the future. Oh No!
Henry continues to disobey his mother the Mayor/The Queen and work with Emma. He however has not figured out who Mr. Gold is yet, as far as his fairy tale counterpart that is.
We learned the Mayor is sleeping with Sheriff Graham, and the consensus on him is that he’s The Huntsman from the Snow White story on the other side. Even though he’s sleeping with the mayor, he continues to show his disobedience . . . at the end of the episode he agreed to hire Emma as his deputy.
All good things must come to an end, and sadly December 11th is the “Winter Finale” of the show. It should pick up sometime next year after New Years.
Also in fairytale world, the prince disappears after they kidnap Rumple and he tells her she won’t see him again until the deal goes through.

So was Ashley’s (Cinderella) pregnancy in stasis for 25+ years until Emma started time moving again? That part confused me.

Hmm, good thought. Maybe it’s because Emma got her out of Storybrook? She was having her baby right passed the town’s sign?

I’m also confused about the pregnancy and the time line. Shouldn’t she have had the baby before the curse? Snow had her baby right before the curse and she didn’t look like she was expecting while helping Cinderella.

Was Snow White helping Cinderella near the end of her pregnancy? I’ll have to go back, but I thought the last we saw of her was at Cinderella’s wedding. Maybe they got pregnant around the same time?

No we didn’t see Snow at the end. We only saw her at Cinderella’s wedding.
Maybe wardrobe only has one baby belly and they had to share? LOL

I think we only saw James give her the quil, not Snow. We only saw Snow at the wedding?
