Fairy Tale Fall!

Fairy Tale Fall!

If you’ve been to a movie this summer, one that includes the “First Looks” things before the trailers and movie start, then you’ve no doubt seen the previews of ABC’s “Once Upon A Time.” ABC is heavily pushing this show, which will air before “Housewives” on Sundays. I actually can’t wait for it. Given how much they are promoting it, I’m hoping it won’t fall victim to the “ABC Cancelation Curse” that usually befalls all the new shows on their channel that I like!

Related, but with a much more horror focus is NBC’s “Grimm.” This is probably the only NEW thing I’ll be watching on NBC this fall honestly. This along with FX’s just picked up “American Horror Story” should be something fans of “Harpers Island” and “Happy Town” might enjoy.

  1. Are these going to be regular shows or mini-series like Harpers Island and Happy Town?

  3. These look awesome!

I can’t see them both being full series, though. I think Grimm would work, but Once Upon a Time is more limited. It would be better if it was a Harper’s Island setup.

  4. Once Upon a Time was tried loooooong ago, I think by ABC too lol. However it was a half hour sitcom where the characters from snow white got sent to modern times.

  5. The Charmings is the show you are thinking of Dustin! I can’t see the video of the new show, but knew the old show right away :).

  6. Yeah… Both of these shows look really entertaining, so we can count on them being cancelled mid-season since they’re on ABC/NBC. I’ll be really surprised if they make it all the way thru the season.
