So on the latest “Grey’s Anatomy,” Alex and the new baby doc continued their romance, while Meredith hit a set back in her fertility treatments, having to stop them as they were having side effects with her vision. I really hope she gets her baby before the end of the season, though something tells me based on this show Christina is going to end up pregnant next.

Bailey and Meredith had a powwow to convince The Chief that his wife, who made another trip to the ER, needed medical tests and attention. The Chief finally asked Derek to take a look at her. What kind of bad luck or karma does The Chief have if he ends up with both the loves of his life ending up with Alzheimer’s? Hopefully it will be something else, but it would be an interesting story to have Adele in Derek’s trials.

This episode also gave fruit to two new possible couples. The first was Jackson and Lexie. Hmmmmm, I still want her with Mark honestly, so I’m not onboard with this. I thought Jackson would end up with either Teddy or April. April meanwhile got asked out by Stark of all people. Eeeewwwwwww! He’s such a nasty and foul man, and she said yes? Is she that desperate? I don’t know if I will hate this story, or if it will turn out to be amazing. She did have an affect on him, convincing him not to call CPS on the mother with alzheimer’s whose son’s tumor went unattended to.

Over on “Private Practice,” a bulk of the show dealt with everyone reacting to Violet’s manuscript, which apparently was a tell all book that border-lined on trashy medical drama . . . kinda like this show! She probably should have talked to her friends before airing their dirty laundry. The best scene was when Sheldon said she could have talked about his more positive attributes, and in the background Amelia was making the “This Big” gesture.

One of the other big stories was one of those classic stories involving unborn babies that this show just seems to love to do. A teen with downs syndrome got pregnant by her learning disabled boyfriend, and the mother had to make a decision whether to keep the baby, which itself could be special needs. Naomi, being opposed to abortion, tried to convince her to at least wait and have tests done on the child (which came back healthy). However the mother had the baby aborted anyways, even before knowing, because she knew these kids couldn’t care for a baby, and she would not be able to care for all three of them. It really was a sad story, and in the end Naomi realized she had actually not thought of the mother’s situation and was possibly making a hard situation worse for her. This of course lead her and Sam, who also worked on this case, to a big smooch. Ohhhhhh no! This won’t go down well with Addison, and for once it won’t be Addison who screwed things up. After being lectured by both Sam and Naomi for the past few episodes about her ability to screw up every relationship she’s in . . . . wow for once I actually find myself on Addison’s side!
