Desperate Housewives: Who Shot Paul Young?
Posted by Dustin on 01.03.2011 at 11:20 am
So after what seems like an eternity, TV is finally back this week. Things were kicked off with “Desperate Housewives” on Sunday, where we learned Paul Young survived being shot. So did anyone notice that Paul was shot in the dark, but taken away by the paramedics in broad daylight? Not only did nobody investigate a gunshot, Paul didn’t bleed to death in all that time? Erkay!
For the entire episode it appeared Mike had returned from Alaska and shot Paul. Felicia had apparently asked him a long time ago to do so (I guess offering money) and thought he finally followed through. However at the very end of the show he swore to Felicia he did not shoot Paul. She then wondered who did? The cops knew the neighbors all hated him, but they apparently all had alibis. Paul also found out, from the cops, that Beth is Felicia’s daughter. Uh oh! The way he looked at the knitting needles and yarn on her chair . . . . I was worried she was going to return and he planned on stabbing her. Given Bob and Lee are adopting a little girl soon, I’m betting it’s one of them, and I’m betting it’s Bob.
The guilt of her secret ate at her, and Renee finally told Lynette the truth, that she slept with Tom 20 years ago. Lynette was not happy, but saw no reason to tell Tom that she knew, Renee would have to live with this and the guilt. You know Lynette is going to just blow up . . . . or treat Tom a lot worse than she normally does.
Juanita entered therapy to help her deal with the truth about her birth parents. The psychiatrist asked Gabby and Carlos to get rid of all pictures and evidence of Grace to help Juanita heal. Gabby of course was reluctant, and Carlos made sure to destroy everything . . . which killed Gabby. I get that Carlos is trying to protect Juanita, but his coldness is scaring me. Old Carlos seems to be returning! He has a lot of anger toward’s Gabby and is blaming her for hurting Juanita. How about we blame the people who switched your baby! At the end of the show, Gabby ended up buying a doll that looked very similar to Grace . . . . creepy!
After the riot, Susan had to lose a kidney as it got trampled and ruptured. Unfortunately her other kidney was deformed and only working at 5%, which meant she needed a transplant, and dialysis until a donor could be found. I’m not getting the point of this story at all. Judging on the spoilers for next week though, it might become a little more clear. Seems Susan’s family is hiding some kind of secret! I recall there being an issue with Susan’s father, is he coming back into the picture?
Orson returned, having left physical therapist Judy because he still loved and wanted Bree. Ugh! He’s like a cockroach, you can’t get rid of him. Bree idiotically invited him to stay with her and Keith (who just moved in). Does this woman subconsciously want to ruin this relationship? First Keith’s dad, now Orson? Fortunately she made it clear that Keith was her choice. I just hope Orson is gone by the next episode!
