Desperate Housewives: Beth Loves Paul?

Desperate Housewives: Beth Loves Paul?

So another awesome episode of “Desperate Housewives!”

Crazy Beth Tillman/Young seems to be falling for her husband Paul, which has Felicia going nuts. Paul has convinced her that not only did he not kill Martha Huber, but Felicia Tillman is nuts, off her rocker, always has been. Beth was sneaky, bringing up what neighbors and friends of Felicia said to her. Beth than began to look at her life and relationship with her mom and wondered maybe her mother was nuts. Paul was so good, he had me wondering if he was innocent. I had to think hard (cause it’s been so long), but I do believe we did see Paul kill Martha (I think he clubbed her and strangled her?).

Gabby and Carlos invited Grace and her parents (whose names I keep forgetting) over for Thanksgiving. Long story short, Gabby got the husband pulled over when she nagged him to drive on the shoulder to get around some traffic. He was illegal, as is his wife. The husband (Hector, I remembered his name!) is being deported, while Gabby and Carlos (especially Gabby) are trying to convince the wife to let them try and help her. She however wants to run. Gabby’s already formulating a plan to have Grace stay with them . . . so she gets to keep both daughters basically. Oh Gabby, I have been expecting it, but I don’t like it. Now had they killed the parents . . . that’s one thing. Gabby is just scheming to keep both of the kids now though, and I don’t like that. Also, I could have sworn there was some law/issue with deporting an illegal parent (should their kid be born in the US). I’m not up on those legalities, but I thought often the mother is allowed to stay (though the father is sent packing).

Bree invited Keith’s parents over for Thanksgiving, where they promptly fought with one another and Keith’s mom announced she wanted a divorce. This tore Keith up, who felt like marriage was not something that lasted. Bree gave him a huge pep talk about how he had to believe in marriage, she still does; and his dad told Keith this had been years coming now. What Bree didn’t know is Keith has a ring and had originally planned to propose to her over a quiet Thanksgiving . . . oops! Now there are bigger problems. Keith’s dad thinks Bree is a “very special lady.” Creepy stalker man! I think Keith’s dad is going to make a play for Bree.

Renee hosted Thanksgiving for Lynette, Susan and family . . . though the kids had to eat outside in the driveway. Susan and Lynette battled over sleep training Paige, while Tom tried to avoid Renee giving their past . . . I really hate that they are doing this to Lynette and Tom frankly. Enough of Tom’s secret past flings!

  1. Dustin, you are right, Paul did kill Martha, although you did forget about the clever irony in which he did it! He bludgeoned her with the blender that Martha had borrowed from Mary Alice and decided not to return after her suicide! I agree with you though, he was so convincing with her that you really did doubt whether he did it.

  2. Yeah, I think they are setting up a triangle between Bree, Keith and his Dad (and forgive me but I am loving John Schiender in this role… Tend to like him though no matter what), and I am not sure I like it.

Yeah, I have suspected that Beth is going to fall in love truly with Paul esspecially once she gave up the big V to him. She is being written as the type to believe if you give that to a man you must love him no matter what…..

I kinda liked Susans reasons for not liking the crying baby. She couldnt control her own tears, her sons tears, but she could soothe a baby who just needed a bit of comfort. Somehow I related, it is nice to give comfort when you can.
