Person’s Unknown: Identity, August 21st Spoiler
Posted by Dustin on 08.08.2010 at 4:22 pm
Looks like there is no “Person’s Unknown” next weekend. The next new episode is listed for August 21st.
There is actually a MAJOR spoiler in this little blurb too.
August 21st – IDENTITY
LOCKDOWN—When new night manager, Mr. Ulrich (Alan Smyth), informs the group that all “guests” are restricted to the hotel they feel even more trapped. The level of uneasiness heightens when they return to their rooms and find very personal items that remind them of their pasts. Meanwhile, Kat (Lola Glaudini) and Renbe (Gerald Kyd) explore a duplicate abandoned town and find out a whole lot more than they bargained for. Also starring Jason Wiles, Daisy Betts, Alan Ruck, Sean O’Bryan, Tina Holmes, Chadwick Boseman and Kandyse McClure.
Person’s Unknown: Town Located!
Posted by Dustin on 08.08.2010 at 4:14 pm
A lot going on last night on “Person’s Unknown,” but still as confused as ever. Joe was returned to town, with very little memory of what happened. Tom is apparently dead, so Joe has been told. Meanwhile Joe beat the tar out of the night manager, who was replaced by Ulrich, a very high up in “The Program.” The director sent him there personally to get Joe under control, she feels he is the closets thing they’ve seen to a “Level 10 Candidate” in a long time . . . At least it seemed she was talking about Joe . . . . but could that person really be Janet?
I really thought last week the woman in the prison who tipped Renby and Kat off to Father Joe was the director . . . is she? Isn’t she? They looked familiar to me, or in the face/voice at least. I thought maybe she had just changed . . . or was she in disguise? Kat and Renby, with the priests help, escaped from where they were and found themselves in a South American jungle . . . and before long on the outskirts of the town! How will they get in there though with all those “pain guns.”
Back in town, Joe continued to freak out. Nobody but Janet believed he had lost his memory. He was about to kill himself when Janet got through to him at the end and saved him. The director was very . . . interested in this turn of events. If Janet isn’t part of the program, I think the director now possibly wants her to be!
What do you think? Has Janet been in on it all along?
Post Note! The director WAS the woman in the jail. I went to IMDB.com and looked her up. The actress is listed as playing Angela Barragan for a set number of episodes. You can see a photo of her there as the woman in jail, but also as a blonde with glasses. She seems to be playing both roles.
Big Brother 12: Ragan Is the New Saboteur!
Posted by Dustin on 08.07.2010 at 12:22 am
So the new HOH opened Pandora’s Box, which appeared in their room, only to find a dollar inside. But because they opened it, Ragan, who America voted as the new Saboteur, was given and accepted the offer.
The house guests JUST moments ago saw another video of “The Saboteur” saying they were going to stab them all in the backs and win the game. Based on the message, it does in fact seem Ragan still can win the whole shebang, not just having to get to the half-way mark like Annie had to.
If you wanna know who is on the block and who the new HOH is (and haven’t already read), make the jump!

Big Brother August 5th: 4th Eviction, Sabatouer and the New HOH
Posted by Dustin on 08.05.2010 at 7:13 pm
I didn’t post an update for last night’s “Big Brother,” basically because I wasn’t feeling it. The hamster houseguests are grating on me, especially Rachel who constantly feels the need to YELL when she’s in the diary room.
Kristen and Hayden are up for eviction, and basically everyone knows Kristen is going home. Some of the guests suspect there may be a surprise double elimination tonight, but Julie never told us that and she normally does in advance.
Brittany tried to see what Rachel would do if she used the veto, and Rachel said she’d put Lane up. Rachel however told Brittany that so she wouldn’t use the veto, but it made “The Brigade” upset and more determined to put Rachel and Brendan up.
Brittany told Hayden and Kristin she wanted to use the veto to get Kathy up, but Rachel wouldn’t play that game (duh!). Brittany basically ran her mouth all over about Rachel (but oddly in the feeds has been Rachel’s new BFF this week! Last night they were having a tub session and mud masks and making fun of everyone, including Kristin). Brittany is playing the game well.
Brittany, Matt and Ragan was making fun of Rachel in the HOH room, and Brittany had Rachel’s fake hair extensions in and posing as her. However when busted . . . Brittany said they wanted to surprise her and she caught them. Rachel wasn’t that dumb, but said she was a good sport about those things. The highest form of flattery is making fun of someone.
Kristin put it into Brittany’s head that Rachel and Kathy are going to be taken out soon, and Brittany will be the only girl in the house and the guys will get rid of her quickly. Kristen played the game well and campaigned, but “The Brigade” won’t let Hayden go.
Julie Chen went to the living room to speak to the house guests, who had potty mouth syndrome and only wanted to talk about each other’s nasty farts. Brittany said Ragan had the worst farts, and he said the worst ones come from between Brittany’s legs. Julie just shut things down right there!
We went to Kristin’s family and boyfriend here in Philadelphia (Philly!). Kristin’s boyfriend is not happy. They’ve only been together for two months, but she said she would stay true to him. He said Hayden was a 24 year old kid, while he is a 31 year old man. He said as far as he is concerned, their relationship is over.
After talking to Rachel (hahahaha, giggle, laugh, talk real loud), the live vote took place. Hayden and Kristin got to speak, neither threw each other under the bus, but dogged Rachel without naming her (no class, etc . . . .)
Enzo, Matt, Lane, Ragan, Brendan and Brittany voted to evict Kristin. Only Kathy voted to evict Hayden.
Kristin was evicted by a vote of 6 to 1. She then spoke to Julie. My extraordinary psychic powers tell me that Rachel’s goodbye message will say something along the lines of “You tried to come between me and my man!”
Kristin watched her goodbye videos. Rachel did say it! She called Kristin a bitch and don’t ever try and come between her and her man. Ragan told her she was gone because of Rachel’s insecurities, while Kathy was genuinely sorry to see her go. Hayden however told Kristin about “The Brigade,” but said he would have chosen her over them.
Kristin wasn’t shocked about “The Brigade” and sensed that something was up all along. She went out with class I have to say, even wearing her hippie unitard.
The vote for the new Sabotoer came in, and America chose Ragan! However whether he is elligable to take it depends on if he wins HOH.
The next HOH game started and it was another endurance competition. They all stood on this giant paint can (on the side hanging onto the railings) and it spun and stuff was thrown at them.
Julie made sure not to entice someone to jump quickly . . . the first to fall was the one and only have not this week! Of course we won’t know who the new HOH is for some time. i’ll update you when I know!
SPOILERS BELOW! The New HOH and Have Not!

Pretty Little Liars: Mothers and Daughters
Posted by Dustin on 08.04.2010 at 10:03 pm
So I didn’t get a post up for “Pretty Little Liars” last week. I’m not going to do a recappy post of this and last week’s though, rather just post some thoughts on what has been going on.
Alison’s brother Jason is a shady shady character! He seems to be just as bad as Allison, if not worse. However is he “A?” The problem is people come and go quickly on this show. I was sure the cop was “A,” but he just finally returned after a long hiatus. I’m still far behind in the books . . . I know . . . I need to get cracking! A side note, there is a possibility “A” from the books is not “A” from the show, as the cast has not been informed who “A” is, and most have read the books.
Toby, who seemed dead, is possibly alive according to the latest episode. He was “spotted” a few days ago at a rest stop. Hmmmmm, so Toby is still around to tell his secret. That is good, because I want to hear what he has to say.
The latest episode I really liked, because the parents were used a lot. Aria and her mom finally made up, so it would seem, for her moving out when the dad wouldn’t. And not a moment too soon as her dad was getting way too friendly with Hannah’s mom. Ewww! No! Your kids would not like this at all. Poor Laura Leighton, I love her to DEATH . . . but she always plays the whore! Though that’s not completely fair cause Chad Lowe’s character is the bigger whore here as he is the cheater.
Thank GOD that Spencer’s mother as a brain. When she told the cop off for questioning minors without an adult present I was thrilled! I was screaming that episodes ago actually. The only thing that could have made me happier is if she pointed out going through minor’s belongings (or anyones) without a search warrant was also a NO NO!
Through most of the latest episode Emily looked like a huge suspect in destroying Allison’s memorial (cause of several damning pieces of evidence), which also made her look like the murderer too in the cop’s eyes. However she claimed she went to say she was sorry for hating Allison the last few days of her life (and writing a nasty note) and finally admitted to all her friends that she was in love with Allison (basically coming out of her closet). By the end of the show, the real suspect looked like the geeky/photography guy that Hannah has a thing for . . . he hated Allison and had every reason to destroy her memorial . . . but I don’t think he’s “A” or the killer . . . then again that makes him the perfect suspect! I hope it’s not him, because I really like him and Hannah as a couple and was thrilled when Hannah stood up to her snobby friend who was always treating him like garbage.
I’m still very lost on who “A” may be, and I doubt 1) I’ll finish the books to find out before the end of this season and 2) we’ll learn who “A” is in this season 🙂 Therefore I’m not in too much of a hurry to finish the books!
Just A Little Murder and Blackmail on The Gates
Posted by Dustin on 08.02.2010 at 9:29 pm
I neglected to write about last week’s episode of “The Gates,” so I wanted to get a post in after this week’s episode. I don’t know what to think . . . I am more interested in some of the tidbits they drop than the stories they choose to focus on. For example a few weeks ago we learned the female cop at the station was a supernatural and had a secret . . . but have not revisited. At the end of this week we learned Devon the witch also has a really big secret . . . at the end of the show she had all these bizarre skinned facemasks she was hanging up. Whose were they? I hope they won’t drop this one too.
On this episode Barbara the town gossip (and bar trolling slut it would seem) was murdered, apparently by a vampire. Nick/The Chief spent the show getting to the bottom of things, with Dylan also looking into it. By the end of the show the mystery was solved, but Nick and Dylan found themselves blackmailed by Frank Buckly, who knew Dylan had killed the one girl trying to kill Nick.
I definitely like that Nick is making friends with these people, and realizing they aren’t the monsters they seem to be. Again I just wish we’d break away from these stories focusing almost only on the vampires and the werewolves. There is Andy and her succubus side, but it’s annoying because it seems clear that this season is going to end with her probably taking Nick’s son to the brink of death.
Army Wives: Advances On The War Front!
Posted by Dustin on 08.02.2010 at 9:22 pm
On the latest “Army Wives,” with the men shipped out, business at the Hump was way down. Pamela gave Roxy the idea to hold speed dating, which brought in a good crowd. Because there were more men than women, Roxy begged Pamela to help out. Pamela was stunned to see Chase there, he had to go as he lost a bet with his buds. They left together because neither wanted to be there . . . but things got too familiar between them and Pamela had to put the breaks on things. I guess it was too much to hope for that they’d be able to work things out . . . especially given Pamela is supposedly getting a spin-off show.
Joan made progress with her TBI and even got to spend a day alone with Sarah Elizabeth. I have a feeling by the end of the season Joan will have to decide whether she feels up to rejoining her troops or not.
Emmalynn got the news she could get back on the ice, and met a guy named Zach who drives the zambonni at the rink. Zach had filmed games all year, and also filmed her working out, and they made a highlight clip to send to prospective schools. With some help of Claudia Joy making some calls to get Emmalynn seen (it was passed deadlines), Emmalynn seems to have made it into the school of her choosing. Zach just happens to be going to a neighboring school . . . . a new boyfriend perhaps?
Over in Afghanistan, a contracter company big shot had her eyes on Michael, in more ways than one. She was hoping to woo him away from the Army and into the private sector, where he could make a lot of money. She also had designs on wooing him into her arms it would seem. Michael however turned her down.
Meanwhile Jeremy’s relationship with the medic Gabriella hit a snag. When a unit took a hit, she was worried too much about Jeremy she could barely focus. Later she told Jeremy it was over, she shouldn’t be with him, she had a fiance back home. Yah I think we can assume she was lying, telling Jeremy anything to keep him away from her. I really think they make a cute couple, so here is hoping they can work things out at some point.
True Blood: Bill Did A Bad Bad Thing To Sookie
Posted by Dustin on 08.02.2010 at 4:18 pm
I’m trying to remember all that happened last night on the show, cause a lot happened! First up, with Alcide and Tara’s help, Sookie rescued Bill . . . but not before she staked Lorena. It was a good stake, but I guess I would have liked to see Lorena squirm a bit more before her “true death” as the vampires call it.
Alcide killed, it would seem, Coot as they were escaping. Debbie vowed to hunt him down and make him pay. Just great. By that she means she’s going to hunt Sookie down first of course.
We never saw if Franklin was still undead or truly dead after Tara bashed his brains in. Since he didn’t turn to a puddle of goo like Lorena and the Magistrate, my guess is he’ll be back too!
While escaping, Bill ravaged Sookie in the back of Alcide’s truck and almost completely drained her. When they got her to the hospital, a transfusion of the universal blood type made things worse . . . as Sookie apparently has no blood type. Dum dum dum dum!
In a coma Sookie basically entered a scene out of “Midsummers Nights Dream” with all these people dancing around a pool. She met Claudine, who asked Sookie to stay with them. She gave Sookie a drink from the pool. Sookie loved it . . . but Claudine said she’d tasted it before . . . hmm. . . . She also told Sookie that her parents did not die in a car crash/drown in a river as she was told. We weren’t told what happened to them, but I’m guessing it was possibly vampire orchestrated? Something the Queen did to get ahold of Sookie later in life? Claudine sensed a darkness near, a vampire. Everyone dove into the pool, which was more like a portal to somewhere. Sookie didn’t go, and Claudine warned her not to let him steal her “light.”
Bill, who was pushed out of the truck by Tara and left to burn, didn’t. He showed up at the hospital and his blood was the only thing that could save Sookie, so he gave it to her. However from the previews for next week, it seems Sookie turns on Bill pretty quickly. Looks like Bill is out . . . is Alcide in?
Eric found out from Sookie’s cousin Hadley what Sookie really was. Of course we didn’t hear it, only Eric. He was intrigued as it wasn’t what he was expecting. Later Eric, the Queen and King rescued Pam from the Magistrate. They had the Magistrate marry the King and Queen, by force, and then the King decapitated him! The Magistrate kept referring to “The Authority” and how it wouldn’t recognize Russell’s actions or this marriage. I wonder how long it will be till we meet “The Authority.” My guess is that woman on the TV Nann Flannigan is part of it.
Back in Bon Temps, Jason was on a quest to find out what was going on with Crystal and her fiance. A guy in jail agreed to give him information, if Jason got him some meth. Meanwhile Hoyt was pursued by the girl he went on a date with, Summer. Summer actually wins the line of the show! She brought him some homemade biscuits and said something along the lines of “I reaaaalllllyyyyyy want you to taste my biscuit!”
Finally Sam rescued Tommy from his no good parents, who were dog fighting him. Tommy was reluctant to go with Sam, but did. The nasty dad told the mom not to worry, they’d get Tommy back. The mom told the dad to shut it and that she hates him. I have a feeling the next time we see the mom she’ll be shifted into something mean and nasty and attacking Sam.

Big Brother: August 1st. Nominations and a New Saboteur?
Posted by Dustin on 08.01.2010 at 7:36 pm
The show began with a recap of Andrew’s eviction antics and Rachel’s HOH win.
We saw a lot of diary room sessions of everyone’s responses to Andrew’s outburst. Hayden and Kristen tried to claim Andrew was a liar while everyone, one by one, went to vote Andrew out.
We then saw more of the fight between Rachel and Kristen after Rachel’s HOH. Rachel called Kristen a floater and told her to grab a life vest. Rachel was pissed that Kristen kept targeting her in the competition, and she said she heard Hayden and Kristen making out. It became a huge fight between all of them, the two showmance couples. Everyone else sat by and watched the fight. In the end, Rachel said she would make it a priority to get Kristen out this week.
When Kathy gave Kristen and Hayden a hug, Rachel went after Kathy. She said she thought she was her friend. Kathy said she is friends with all of them, they need to try and get along.
Rachel and Kristin kept fighting with one another. Rachel said Kristin claimed she’d put them up, but in reality Kristin said they weren’t at the top of her list and she didn’t know what she’d do.
Rachel talked to Brendan and said she’s tired of people coming after them, she’s going to be the biggest bitch this week.
Hayden came to apologize to Rachel. Rachel said she was just fighting for her and Brendan this week, and Kristin was after them along with everyone else. Rachel said she’s always known about them, but they are coming after her. Hayden claimed to her that he was not here for a showmance at all, and if she put him on the block he’d accept it.
Hayden later talked to Kristin. Rachel came to apologize to Kristin, who lashed out at Rachel. She said she didn’t accept her apology, what she did was complete bull. At that moment Hayden knew that Kristin screwed them both.
Rachel got her HOH room, and of course Kristin refused to go up. Everyone was kissing up to her, especially Enzo and Britney. Rachel got the Spice World CD, some booze and other stuff. As Rachel was happy, everyone else was bitching about her in their diary room sessions. Britney said she’d rather hang herself.
Kathy felt caught in between Rachel and Kristin. Kristin said she would be staying in this house and it was on.
The houseguests had a luxury competition, which included two guests winning a chance to see the new Will Ferrell and Mark Walberg movie “The Other Guys.” In the end Enzo, Hayden and Brendan won the game.
Kathy talked to Rachel to try and stay off the block. She said she is not a floater, she’s been on the block, and she doesn’t want to be punished for supporting Kristin if she’s had a bad day. Kathy swore she wasn’t after them and she was a vote for them in the jury house.
Kristin meanwhile refused to talk to Rachel, she wouldn’t kiss the HOH’s ass. With Hayden’s pushing, she did go to see Rachel. Kristin said they both said mean things, they both don’t need to apology. Kristin said she was never coming after her and Brendan. Rachel didn’t get that impression from her at all. Rachel tells her that they were friends, that’s why this sucked. Rachel said this is a game, and she sucks at the emotional part of it. Kristin said whatever Rachel does for or against her, she will take into consideration, and she knows what that means.
Brendan talked to Rachel and told her not to fall for Kristin’s game, she has to put up Kristin. Rachel says if she puts up Kathy against her, Kathy will go home and not Kristin.
At the nominations ceremony, Rachel did indeed put Kristin and Hayden up against each other. Rachel says she fights everyday to be here, she doesn’t see them fighting. She also knows they are gunning for her and Brendan so bring it on.
The voting for the New Saboteur is still open and runs through tonight!
