I’m not sure what to think about last night’s “Person’s Unknown.” I felt very stressed and aggravated watching it. I guess because we know Joe is seemingly on the bad guys side, whoever they are. Unless he’s a double agent?
Tori was found dead in an fountain in Rome, which I guess we all knew was going to happen. Well not found in the fountain, just the dead part. It seems like her father knows in part what is going on and is being blackmailed by these people.
They then introduced crazy Erika to the group, who apparently was taken straight from the execution table in Texas. Most of the show dealt with her attacking everyone, and being locked in a vault with Janet. Joe saved them, but at the expense of pissing off whoever is hire up. I felt like too much time was spent on crazy Erika in this episode.
Moira finally noticed Joe’s suspicious behavior, and saw him get into the elevator and make it go down. She told the army guy, who apparently was having flashbacks of killing a family during the war.
Janet’s husband meanwhile got himself fired from the paper, his boss was furious at him for lying all this time, but did give him a list of names . . . it would seem the list is the of all the victims in the town.

Devon is brewing up some trouble of her own when she decides to let bygones be bygones and attend a party with her ex-husband and his new wife. Sarah organizes a school fundraiser at Devon’s Spa, but finds it difficult to bring bickering factions together. Claire attempts to end her “arrangement” with Christian, only to find him more entrenched in her life than ever. If you are one of the (possibly few?) people (left?) still hooked on “Project Runway,” well the 8th season premiers on Lifetime on July 29th. Here is their sneak peak! No, it’s not much to go on 🙂
SUSPICION AND SECRETS – When Joe (Jason Wiles) suddenly falls violently ill, the group becomes alarmed. Meanwhile Erika (Kandyse McClure) discovers an antidote, but refuses to give it to Joe unless he comes clean about his secret. Elsewhere, reporter Renbe (Gerald Kyd) and Kat (Lola Glaudini) attend Tori’s (Kate Lang Johnson) funeral in Rome and discover that her father, the U.S. ambassador to Italy, is also investigating her disappearance. Also starring are Daisy Betts, Alan Ruck, Sean O’Bryan, Tina Holmes and Chadwick Boseman.
Comments Off on Person’s Unknown: July 17th Episode
Okay so I finally watched the third episode again when I could pay attention. Line of the show once again goes to Jason for when he was studying for the police test. When asked what blood level was legally intoxicated he responded “When you’re drunk?”
Erik assigned Alcide to look after Sookie, and we finally met the good werewolf. Why though is Erik skirting the chance to guard Sookie? Because of the Queen’s mission to get rid of the V and cover his own tracks? He’s up to something. Definitely loved Sookie and Alcide together though! Poor Alcide finding out that evil Coot is engaged to his ex, Sookie might have to comfort him!
I still have yet to read the books, but a friend tells me enough and what I want to know. I have to wonder if this episode is a turning point for Bill’s character? Are we supposed to stop liking him? That twisted backwards sex scene with him and Lorena was too much! That he would bleep her when he’s supposed to love Sookie so much definitely has me thinking he’s not so great after all.
I love Russell and Talbot. Talbot got all upset that his antique tapestry got burned and Russell almost got the best line of the show with “Chip some dinnerware around here and it’s armageddon.” Russell convinced Bill to revoke his loyalty to Sophie Anne and take a job as sheriff in Mississippi. However I have to believe it was to keep Russell from bringing Sookie to Lorena. Uh oh, she might end up there anyway!
Tara and Franklin’s sex scene was hilarious, mostly cause of Tara’s eyes rolling back into her head. Bet she has a lot to talk to Sookie about and soon! However Franklin clearly has an agenda, he is interested in Bill and more importantly Sookie. My guess is the file on Sookie was his after all? He found out what he needed to know about them from Jessica. Seems he was the one who disposed of the body Jessica killed, but then blackmailed her into telling him about Bill and Sookie. Oh and I didn’t get how Franklin charmed Tara into inviting him into Sookie’s house. If it’s that easy, why make the issue out of having to be invited in?
Jason is attempting to join the police force, whereas the Chief of Police quit after the discovery of a headless body (Jessica’s victim). No, how can Daryl Daryl and his brother Daryl leave!
Sam continued to have family issues. Tommy did try and lure him in front of an oncoming truck last week, and this week it seems he stole some money from Sam’s safe. Meanwhile Sam’s father needs to not only learn how to wash his nasty underpants, but put on clothes. YUCK! Can we please not see him sitting around in yellow-green once tighty whities anymore?
Finally Arlene learned she was pregnant, but it’s Renee’s kid! She then lied to Terry and let him believe it’s his. Uh oh!
Reminder: There is no new episode this weekend due to the fourth. SNIFF.
Post Note: Somehow a few comments from last week’s show ended up in my spam blocker box. I idiotically hit empty and then saw them. I made adjustments, it shouldn’t happen again. Some words will however trigger moderating of comments (it’s an extra precaution against spambots).
Casting Bits: B&S, 90210, Army Wives, Housewives, Weeds

These are various casting bits, most of which I’ve posted links on Twitter already. In case some haven’t seen them though . . .
By now most everyone has head that Emily VanCamp (Rebecca) is departing “Brothers and Sisters.” She will appear in a few episodes, then head out somehow. We still don’t know. Emily gave an interview on it here.
Jill Biden, the VP’s wife, will appear on the August 15th episode of “Army Wives.” She is playing herself in the episode, that’s all we know at this point.
TV Guide is reporting that we’ll see Harriet Sansom Harris return as Felicia Tilman on “Desperate Housewives. She’s the woman who got Paul Young sent to jail for killing her sister. She’s back to explain why Paul is now OUT of jail!
Ausiello is reporting that Miguel #3 from “Passions” is joining “90210.” Blair Redford joined the show and was Miguel after he escaped hell (and went to DirecTV). He’ll be playing Oscar, a British character who moves in with Ivy and her mother.
Finally news broke awhile ago that “Weeds” will be a major character short this season. There will be no drunken Cecelia! Can the show survive another major character loss? We never got Conrad or Heylia back after season 2 (3?).

The final two episodes of “Happy Town” are now online. If you haven’t watch, and want to, stop reading now 🙂
Motha . . . . First up I still am confused. Second, Dee Wallace Stone ?!?!?!? A second season would have been so awesome!
So what did we find out? Merritt and the FBI agent Farmer were working together. They both loved the same woman, she ended up with Merritt, but had a child named Simon. Simon disappeared, they blamed the Magic Man and worked together to find them. It wasn’t clear if Simon was one of the abducted . . . or the Magic Man?
Hanley/Chloe worked with Merritt to find him to, while still talking to her mom on the phone about finding him. Not sure what the whole connection here is. Tommy’s wife seem to think Hanley seemed . . . familiar. We never got answers. I somewhat felt she might have been Simon’s sister ????
Peggy Haplin is nuts and showed her grandson a film called “Behind The Blue Door.” That made him realize he could not run away with Georgia as planned, his place was here with the family. Peggy wanted him to take over, his father was worthless basically. The father was obsessed with finding his missing daughter, while his wife went nuts and completely transformed herself into the missing daughter by the end of the show.
We don’t know what the film was, cause we heard and only saw. We know that the grandson found it “sick” and everyone in it sounded German. Nazi propaganda? The Blue Door is also connected to the Magic Man . . . .
Hanley/Chloe told Tommy that his mother Alice was murdered by Peggy Haplin with the hammer. She gave it to him, and he faced off with his father Griff. Tommy went to question Peggy. Alice was the gardner and according to Griff “very close” to the lady of the house. He asked if she murdered his mother. She said that is not the question he should be asking.
Griff went to a bar named Cicero (the Magic Man’s bird) and led Henley/Chloe and Merritt and Farmer there as well. He approached the bar where Miss Dee Wallace Stone was tending. He said “You never told me they were all still alive . . . . Alice!” She said he never asked.
Grrrrr! I hate that we have no answers really. Here is hoping the writers/producers give some kind of closure as to what they were planning to do. Yeah a long shot ?
