Army Wives: Game Changer!

Army Wives: Game Changer!

Posted by Dustin on 07.12.2010 at 11:43 am

The final moments of last night’s “Army Wives” was just huge . . . huge! Frank and Michael got the news that the pentagon wanted the entire base/squad involved in the latest return to Afghanistan, which meant both he and Frank were being deployed for at least a year . . . . leaving next week!

Denise was heart broken, as it mean Frank would miss everything with the new baby just like he had with Jeremy. Claudia Joy was strong for Michael and told him not to worry about her while he was gone . . . which you know means she’s going to have something go wrong with her diabetes.

It would appear that Joan, because of her TBI, won’t be going with everyone else. She ended up getting lost one mile from her house while out for a jog. My guess is Joan will act in Michael’s place leading the base while he’s gone.

Emmalyn continued to work on her rehab, even though the news so far wasn’t good. She’s either hit a plateau, or she won’t gain anymore mobility back than she has . . . which means no hockey and no scholarship.

The final story dealt with Pam’s jealousy over Chase’s beautiful new neighbor, who she thought he was dating. He said he wasn’t though, they were only friends. Clearly the Pam and Chase story is far from over. I have a feeling they are keeping it alive in case Pam’s spin-off doesn’t work out? I do believe “Lifetime” has picked it along with two other new cop inspired shows up.

I just thought the end was amazing. Everything, I mean everything is going to change. We haven’t seen anything like this since the first episode really when the wives were welcoming everyone back home. Now we will finally see them when most of their spouses are gone.

Big Brother 12: Nominations and Saboteur Mini Cap

Big Brother 12: Nominations and Saboteur Mini Cap

Posted by Dustin on 07.11.2010 at 8:56 pm

No spoilers here, just a mini-cap of what happened in this episode. Spoilers are in the previous post if you want them!

Everyone was suspicious of Brenden and Andrew when the lights went out and their food room was padlocked, because both were up and moving. They went without food for several days (3?). Everyone was on slop!

Brenden and Rachel ended up in a full on beautiful people/science nerd showmance. Brenden is going to grad school for physics, which Rachel is the VIP cocktail waitress slash chemist.

The Have-Have Not game was held. They all had to crawl through a pool of caramel and search through a giant popcorn bin for missing puzzle pieces. Kathy, Rachel, Matt and Ragen are the Have-Nots. Not only do they get slop and cold showers, but the have-not room . . . which this year is basically a dungeon. It had nasty dirty pool chairs for beds, and the room was filled with jars of bugs and maggots that stunk up the whole room!

The saboteur struck and X’d out Britney and Kathy’s photos to create drama in the house, and right before nominations (the two also had some tiffs going on after the competition). Hayden already had decided to put up Brenden to get him out, he didn’t trust him . . . but who to put up against him? Rachel or one of the girls X’d out? Because Kathy lost her team the game, suspicion was also on her.

In the end Hayden nominated Rachel and Brenden. He claimed that it was because Brenden was a suspect as a saboteur, and Rachel hadn’t tried to connect with him at all. his real target was Brenden, which he told us.

Pretty Little Liars: The Fallout From A!

Pretty Little Liars: The Fallout From A!

Posted by Dustin on 07.10.2010 at 7:15 pm

In the last episode of “Pretty Little Liars” we witnessed a lot of fallout from “A,” but not too much new information on who “A” might be.

Aria’s parents’ marriage ended up in shambles, with the mother furious that the father used their own child to keep his secret. Meanwhile “A” did strike Ezra’s phone, and he thought Aria had told her friends about them. Fearing he could be fired, he broke off their relationship.

Spencer’s father made her throw a tennis match to impress a client. She was so furious she realized where her win at all cost attitude came from, and told her dad that she cheated on her essay, which won a national prize.

Toby and Emily grew closer in this episode, with Maya being no where to be found. I have a feeling though Maya isn’t going to be happy with Emily’s liking Toby!

Finally Spencer had to work at Sean’s father’s office to help pay off the damage to his truck. She learned Jenna has been seeing a shrink in the same building. She also joined Sean’s abstinence club because she thought she might be losing him.

I don’t know, I felt this episode was missing the scary parts and the shockers that make the show fun. I realize they probably can’t keep those coming in every episode. I however feel like we didn’t get any closer to finding out who “A” is.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of “Glee,” spoke to “Entertainment Tonight” about an upcoming episode of the show. Already having done a Madonna and a Gaga epiose, it seems another tribute episode is in the works. “We are writing a Britney Spears episode,” Murphy told “Entertainment Tonight.”

Brian Austin Green The New Wisteria Lane Hunk?

Brian Austin Green The New Wisteria Lane Hunk?

Posted by Dustin on 07.10.2010 at 1:35 pm

For over a week now there have been reports that Brian Austin Green (best known as David on 90210) was in talks to join “Desperate Housewives” as the new hunky contractor on the block.

Most news outlets say he’s in talks for the role, or he’s nearing a final agreement. On The Red Carpet seems to be the first site to say ABC has confirmed to them that he is joining the show for an unknown number of episodes in the new season.

Big Brother Day 1! (Kinda)

Big Brother Day 1! (Kinda)

Posted by Dustin on 07.08.2010 at 6:57 pm

“Big Brother 12” premiers at 8pm tonight, though technically they moved in a few days ago. I’m posting this here as a space saver. I’ll update it with thoughts as the show airs (hopefully, or shortly after). You can feel free to leave your comments here too after you see the show.

Also remember “Big Brother After Dark” starts tonight on Sho2 at midnight and runs every night for 3 hours. The feeds, if you’ve subscribed (I have!) start after the show airs (on the west coast I believe, so again 12pm).

Last year there were issues with spoilers being given away in the comments and showing up on the side bar. I’m probably going to remove the side bar comments this summer to keep that from occurring, or find a way to tweak it so it just shows the author’s name and what post they commented on.

Also as of late blog has been marking some real comments as spam. I’ve been doing my best lately to check and save them. I also upgraded all the blog software today, so hopefully that will also help!

My thoughts/recap of the initial episode . . . .

Initial thought, Enzo has to go yesterday. I just can’t listen to him all summer. I can’t!

Did the “chemist” just call Andrew’s yamaka a Yam Kapur? Okay, I don’t want anything she’s working on inventing!

The house guests are told about the saboteur. Well that sucks, they couldn’t have kept it a secret a little longer? He or she wins 50K if they make it to week 5. Then what though . . do they leave . . do they stay?

The first HOH is held. I will reveal this at the end of the post and after the fold/jump . . . . for those who are on the west coast so they don’t see it up front.

The cast is divided into two teams, with Andrew volunteering to be the mascot and not be eligible to be HOH.

The HOH game took place on a large fake grill, and Andrew (dressed like a hot dog) learned while he couldn’t be HOH, he also couldn’t be evicted.

The goal of the game was to pull team members across the grill on a large hanging hot dog. The last team member (of the winning team) to make it across the grill would be HOH, while the first to make it across wins 10K (and each succeeding member wins less money).

Brittany slipped and fell off the giant weaner an apparently hurt her knee bad. Andrew, who is a doctor (podiatrist), had to hold back from helping and tipping his brain to the other houseguest. Meannnnnnnn!

Brittany was taken out of the game and some switches were made to insure fairness. However Brittany now looks like either the saboteur or the weakest link!

Read on past the end to find out who the first HOH is!

We will get to go to CBS.com and give suggestions to the saboteur as to what to do.

At the end of this episode as everyone gathered, the lights went off. Brandon “thought” they had to go to bed, so he set off. Meanwhile Andrew snuck off to try and pull pranks.

Meanwhile the saboteur padlocked the storage room where the food is, and they are only left with slop!

Sunday is the first nomination, Wednesday is the first POV and on Thursday is the first eviction and we learn who the saboteur is!
