Persons Unknown: Who Is The Mastermind?

Persons Unknown: Who Is The Mastermind?

So another great episode of “Persons Unknown” last night, though I could have done without the bits of gore and blood hanging on those implants Moira was cutting out of their legs. YUCK!

With the implants gone, now the group faces some weird pain guns that have set up some “Lost-like” invisible energy field around the town keeping them in . . . so they are still stuck.

Parts of the episode dealt with who might be behind this. The young blond of the group, Kate, was sure it was her dad. He’s not only ex-CIA and now an ambassador to Italy, but she threatened to blow the whistle on him. She was so adamant it was him that it screamed “NOT!”

Elsewhere the newspaper reporter researching Janet’s (the young mother’s) abduction got strong armed by a thug looking to cover up dirt about Janet’s ex-husband and Janet’s rich and apparently crazy mother. It definitely seemed like the crazy mother had the money and power to do this . . . but why kidnap other people and put them in there with Janet?

I’m beginning to think this is some sick camp that people can pay to have people they want to see disappeared kidnapped and taken to? That everyone in it has some secret another person doesn’t want known, and this is some crazy sadistic theme park people can pay to watch that person tortured in (as opposed to just paying to have them rubbed out).

Of course that wouldn’t be as good as if there really was something connecting all these people they weren’t aware of. That is what I am expecting.

  1. I kept watching Moria (the patient/doctor) and the young blond; as well as the mother and Joe; there stories seem to be paralleling each other at some level. How close and how much do you trust someone you just met. THe mother and Joe keep turning to each other, much like the two women.

Did not like the grandmother and her attitude with the puzzle.

  2. Moira creeped me out. She is definitely fixated on that blond for some reason!

  3. But other then those four, and the Sarge as they all the miltiary man, none are really sticking out to me character wise.

And my question is are they back in the same town or a different one…. And didnt the night manager heal up fast from his injuries?

  4. I didn’t understand why the night manager came back honestly. I thought he would have been happy to escape, unless he was forced back?

Yeah the car salesman and Cameron (forget his name on the show) only seem to be there to try and beat people up. I suspect they’ll be the first to die.
