What the hell Maya, walking out so close to the end? I don’t care about Seth Arron’s speech to the audience not to judge, I’m judging cause now that Milla woman has a better shot at winning!
I was so sad to see Jonathan go, but that potato sack dress he made was fugly. If he turned it around it might have worked!
Anthony being back is fine with me, and not only did he win this week, it appears that Michael Koors tells him next week that his garment is his favorite of the season. That could be editing though.
Two are out next week, I just ask that Milla be one of them 🙂
This looks like it could be this year’s “Harper’s Island.” Is anyone planning to watch?
ABC ANNOUNCES THE SERIES PREMIERE DATE FOR NEW DRAMA “HAPPY TOWN,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28
ABC has announced the premiere date of its new drama, “Happy Town,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET). The residents of the sun-splashed town of Haplin, Minnesota — also known as “Happy Town” — have enjoyed an uneasy peace for the past five years — but that is about to change. Still haunted by a number of unsolved kidnappings, Haplin now faces a disturbing new crime that brings all of its unresolved fears to the surface. Has the elusive “Magic Man” – who many believe is responsible for the bizarre abductions — returned to claim yet another innocent victim? As Haplin’s mysteries are revealed, many of its prominent citizens’ motives come under scrutiny as their own secrets and personalities are peeled back one layer at a time.
Dragged away from his idyllic family life to investigate the new spate of crimes, Tommy Conroy, a small-town deputy under the wing of his dad, long-time popular Sheriff Griffin Conroy, has never had to take charge of Haplin’s law enforcement. His comfortable lifestyle is suddenly turned upside down by a bizarre set of circumstances and he must learn to pool his smarts – without the necessary training and tools – to rally the residents, as well as to keep his wife, Rachel, daughter, Emma, and the rest of Haplin safe.
When Henley Boone comes to Haplin, she tells people that she hopes to uncover information about her family’s past since her late mother enjoyed her vacation time here. But in the process, Henley finds herself drawn into a web of romance and intrigue she never could have foreseen. What is she really here for and can she be trusted?
The Haplin founding family, represented by the mysterious matriarch Peggy Haplin and her quick-tempered son, John, run the local bread factory, which is the town’s largest employer. The powerful family tries to wield control even while dealing with the fact that John’s daughter was one of the Magic Man’s many victims.
The ever-dapper Merritt Grieves, who runs a charming but perhaps irrelevant film memorabilia shop, seems strangely sinister. The lively widows residing at the Meadows Boarding House with Merritt become all aflutter whenever he is in their presence.
Haplin’s other colorful characters include the heir apparent to the Haplin fortune — Andrew Haplin, who has been carrying on a secret romance with the Conroys’ babysitter, Georgia Bravin – a nice girl from the other side of the tracks. Tommy’s colleagues at the police station, Detective Roger Hobbs and Deputy Eli “Root Beer” Rogers, are committed to solving both the heinous new crime and the past unsolved kidnappings. Other residents include Tommy Conroy’s boyhood friend, Big Dave Duncan, as well as the nefarious Stiviletto brothers.
Many in this small Midwestern town have skeletons in their closets, and some dark truths are being revealed about some familiar faces. There are signs both obvious and hidden that something strange is going on, as exemplified by a recurring bit of curious graffiti: a halo with a question mark under it. They say every town has its secrets, but that doesn’t even begin to describe Happy Town.
“Happy Town” stars Geoff Stults as Tommy Conroy, Sam Neill as Merritt Grieves, Lauren German as Henley Boone, Steven Weber as John Haplin, Amy Acker as Rachel Conroy, Sarah Gadon as Georgia Bravin, Robert Wisdom as Roger Hobbs, Jay Paulson as Eli “Root Beer” Rogers and Ben Schnetzer as Andrew Haplin.
Recurring stars include Frances Conroy as Peggy Haplin, Abraham Benrubi as Big Dave Duncan, M.C. Gainey as Sheriff Griffin Conroy, Peter Outerbridge as Handsome Dan, Warren Christie as Greggy Stiviletto and Sophia Ewaniuk as Emma Conroy.
Josh Appelbaum (“Life on Mars,” “Alias,” “October Road”), Andre Nemec (“Life on Mars,” “Alias,” “October Road”) and Scott Rosenberg (“Life on Mars,” “October Road”) are executive producers. “Happy Town” is produced by ABC Studios. “Happy Town” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
So this week on “90210” I loved the storyline with Gia and Adrianna, with Adrianna not only exploring her sexuality but refusing to put a label on it or subscribe to society’s labels.
I felt bad for Liam when he caught his step-dad cheating on his mom, worse for his mom who decided to stay with the guy and put up with him! I have to wonder what is going on with Annie suddenly calling him up and wanting to hang. Is she after him? She just got back into Naomi and the others’ good graces, she’s gunna screw that up!
The show ended with Jasper calling Annie and threatening to commit suicide. Didn’t see that one coming! I don’t know why, but I got the feeling he was standing on her roof. I expected him to jump and fly by her window at the end, but it didn’t happen.
Naomi has landed herself in hot water thanks to her mouth. Shocking! She’s accused a new faculty member of sexually harassing her because he kicked her off the school paper. You’d think Naomi would have learned her gossiping lessons by now.
Dixon’s birth mother planned to head back home, but not before catching Aunt Becky kissing on her yoga instructor. He made the move, which she told him was wrong. She planned to tell Harry, but Dixon’s mom suggested she not as it would just cause more tension. I have some bizarre feeling that Dixon’s mom would love that though.
Over to “Melrose Place,” shockingly I actually liked this episode. However at this point I fear it’s too little too late!
Amanda is back to being a bitch. It appears she’s stealing from her own company and now framing Ella. Loved it. Why did it take this long to make Amanda interesting again?
Lauren coming out great as a hooker to the residents was great, and I felt so bad for her when David walked out on her.
I even somehow was able to tolerate that boring couple being jealous of each other in this episode.
In the end though . . too little too late. I think this show is doomed. Had they bothered to bring back the old cast a little more regularly and use them like they did in this episode, the show could have worked!
So I haven’t posted much about the new season of “Shear Genius.” I actually cam in a bit late honestly, I forgot it started. The loss of Jaquelin as the host and being replaced by Jonathan Antin and Camilla Alvarez (sp?) didn’t appeal to me, but I have warmed up. I still think Jonathan is as full of himself as when he has his own hair show “Blowout” though.
I think if it wasn’t for Brigg on the show, I would have lost interest. She’s by far my favorite, just cause she’s so out there, and now she’s in the final 3! I think I’m so over Matthew and Janine, who Brigg and others termed the “Wonder Twins.” I was really upset that Yan went over Janine this week. I really wanted the “Wonder Twins” powers to be fully de-activated!
