So Sunday brought us the big “Brothers and Sisters” 2 hour event. It was an awesome 2 hours too! We learned a lot, there were a lot of shocks, but still we have much yet to uncover.
The show involved the siblings trying to figure out what Dennis York was holding over Nora’s head to force them to sell Ojai. It all went back to a party Sarah threw at Ojai one night. Someone was hurt, Nora and William lied to the kids about it, and then paid off the family and the victim . . . . . Nora still was! The kids thought hard . . . . Tommy got drunk and drove, but he wasn’t the one, though they tried to make us think he was. It was Kevin, who got into a fight with his “friend.” The fight stemmed from an almost kiss between them, with Kevin taking a swing at him! The friend took a spill and ended up paralyzed, though William and Nora lied to Kevin about this. Kevin learned and felt guilty, but upon seeing the guy, he had no hard feelings. He had come to terms with what happened and didn’t blame Kevin, saying he acted how society at the time taught him he should about such feelings. Kevin however wasn’t ready to forgive himself. It was a very powerful message! However knowing Kevin, it won’t be easy for him to forgive himself. Let’s just hope he doesn’t do something . . . . well Kevin like!
While Kevin was trying to come to terms with what he did, Scotty had to go ahead and donate for another try at implementation or they’d lose another batch of viable eggs. Yeah I think we can all guess that this one will end up taking and they’ll have a baby from this.
Kitty got the news that she is officially cancer free. Great news, but yet again, we all know a tragedy is coming on the marriage front. They have to write Robert out somehow, and most of us are guessing death. Ironic isn’t it?
Justin and Rebecca secretly got married in this episode, but their honeymoon was anything but private. They headed up to the old family vacation home, only to have Nora and Holly stop in. Nora and Holly were investigating York, having stole his car from a hotel and followed his GPS system in the car. Nora knew they had a family house nearby and stopped for a break. Nora and Holly were so much fun in this episode acting all “Thelma and Louise.” They were sure William had found a parcel of land that was worth money. Kevin finally solved the puzzle of Narrow Lake, saying it was an anagram for Nora Walker! They then triangulated from the GPS and ended up on a plot of land nearby with an old tree.
So they’ve found “Narrow Lake,” which is some parcel of land that clearly has value. The question now is WHAT is the value? An endangered pepper tree? There is a pepper tree on the land, but doubtful that is it. Oil? I don’t think they’re in the right geographic area for that. It’s driving me nuts . . . . I thought we’d get the answer by now.
Oh by the way, did you notice Ryan wasn’t in this episode at all? Yeah, neither did I till about half way through. Then I thought good, forget that kid. I hope this means the show realizes what a mistake bringing that brat in was and write him out! Yeah, I doubt it will be that easy too . . . .

This is simply an audio preview of several of the songs. Jonathan Gruff, guest starring as the lead singer for the rival group Vocal Adrenaline, is featured on many up against Rachel.
Sue is singing “Vogue,” though I’m not sure if she is just doing the rap or if she’s singing the whole thing. Santana (Naya) twittered she’s doing “Like A Virgin.” I *think* Tina is doing “Express Yourself.”
Here is the official *spoiler* episodic for the episode . . .
THE POWER OF MADONNA – April 20, 2010
Mr. Schuester is concerned that the girls in the glee club are being disrespected and bullied by the guys. Looking to Madonna and her musical message of equality as inspiration, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace her strength, independence and confidence and that the guys will see the error of their misogynistic ways. The glee club takes the assignment to heart as they perform some of Madonna’s greatest hits, including “Express Yourself” and “Like A Prayer.” Meanwhile, Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a vote of confidence with a makeover that is definitely in “Vogue”

A HORRIFIC CRIME REKINDLES A TOWN’S DARK MYSTERIES, ON THE PREMIERE OF “HAPPY TOWN,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28
Faced with the Disturbing New Crime, Memories of the Infamous “Magic Man” Return, as Well as Bizarre Secrets about Haplin’s Local Residents
The residents of the sun-splashed town of Haplin, Minnesota — also known as “Happy Town” — have enjoyed an uneasy peace for the past five years — but that is about to change. Still haunted by a number of unsolved kidnappings, Haplin now faces a disturbing new crime that brings all of its unresolved fears to the surface. Has the elusive “Magic Man” – who many believe is responsible for the bizarre abductions — returned to claim yet another innocent victim? As Haplin’s mysteries are revealed, many of its prominent citizens’ motives come under scrutiny as their own secrets and personalities are peeled back one layer at a time, on the premiere of “Happy Town,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
In the premiere episode, “In This Home on Ice,” Henley Boone has decided to take up residence in seemingly idyllic Haplin, just as a shocking murder occurs at the local pond. This horrific crime rekindles Happy Town’s dark mysteries, including the whispers about an unknown, evil force that has come to be known as the “Magic Man,” who may be responsible for the past disappearances of Haplin residents. Tommy Conroy, a small town deputy and son of the long-time popular sheriff, must help solve the crime while easing the town’s growing fears. This is made more difficult when it becomes obvious that the residents are hiding secrets, and that includes its newest resident, Henley.
The Haplin founding family, represented by the mysterious matriarch Peggy Haplin and her quick-tempered son, John, run the local bread factory, which is the town’s largest employer. The powerful family tries to wield control even while dealing with the fact that John’s daughter was one of the Magic Man’s many victims. The ever-dapper Merritt Grieves, who runs a charming but perhaps irrelevant film memorabilia shop, seems strangely sinister. The lively widows residing at the Meadows Boarding House with Merritt become all aflutter whenever he is in their presence. Haplin’s other colorful characters include Tommy Conroy’s boyhood friend, Big Dave Duncan, as well as the nefarious Stiviletto brothers.
Many in this small Midwestern town have skeletons in their closets, and some dark truths are being revealed about some familiar faces. There are signs both obvious and hidden that something strange is going on, as exemplified by a recurring bit of curious graffiti: a halo with a question mark under it. They say every town has its secrets, but that doesn’t even begin to describe Happy Town.
“Happy Town” stars Geoff Stults as Tommy Conroy, Sam Neill as Merritt Grieves, Lauren German as Henley Boone, Steven Weber as John Haplin, Amy Acker as Rachel Conroy, Sarah Gadon as Georgia Bravin, Robert Wisdom as Roger Hobbs, Jay Paulson as Eli “Root Beer” Rogers and Ben Schnetzer as Andrew Haplin.
Guest starring in “In This Home On Ice” are M.C. Gainey as Sheriff Griffin Conroy, Abraham Benrubi as Big Dave Duncan, Linda Kash as Miranda, Lynne Griffin as Dot Meadows, Natalie Brown, Carol Haplin, Joanna Douglas as Shell Jenkins, Wendy Lyon as Donna Friddle, Daniel Petronijevic as Ronald Stiviletto, Maxwell McCabe-Lokos as Lincoln Stiviletto, Steve Arbuckle as Baby Boy Stiviletto, Matt Hopkins as Womper Stiviletto, Marcia Bennett as Rose Perkins, Diane Gordon as Esther Klapman, Anna Ferguson as Irene Vaughn, Deborah Grover as Joanie Jenkins, Greg Bryk as Dr. Pete, Sophia Ewaniuk as Emma Conroy, Boyd Banks as Jerry Friddle, Kedar as Kelvin Tolliver, Brittany Kay as Lani, Luke Aquilina as Eric, Brad Borbridge as Perry Steckler and Cassidi Hoag as Jordan Kirby.
Three whole weeks of upcoming “Brothers and Sisters” spoilers are included here. For some reason there is no official release yet for next week’s show, but I pulled some info from the TV listings about it . . . . Read More »

So we got the news this week that Crosby is Jabbar’s daddy! I was glad to hear that, but was a bit disappointed with his parents. He told them the news, and they were thrilled . . . . then they met Jabbar. Obviously the mixed race issue was a shock, but is it going to be an issue? By the way they reacted, I’m worried that there will be a racism issue coming up.
Max got a new Asberger’s counselor to try and help him adjust, as well as his parents. Loved the interaction between them, and that Max seems to have made a new friend at the park with her help. Adam and his wife meanwhile had an issue to overcome in the bedroom department. She had been so worried about Max that she hadn’t been focusing on Adam much . . . .
Julia began to realize not only was she the uptight by the books sibling, but that other women were making advances on her husband. To try and liven things up, they broke into a pool and went skinny dipping, among other things . . . . I was worried they would get busted and was waiting for it, but it didn’t happen.
Finally Sarah found herself liking Amber’s teacher, a lot. He liked her too. She eventually told Amber, who didn’t seem too happy. I think they threw in a storyline this week I wasn’t expecting . . . . Does Amber have a crush on her teacher? It almost seemed that way. So now not only is her mom dating (or at least wants to) her teacher, a cougar . . . but Amber might like him too? Oh boy! This is my favorite of all the storylines on the show. I’m expecting Sarah’s son Drew to end up being gay too. Why I don’t know, but I’m expecting it. There is something about him that just makes me think it’s going to happen.
So sadly I didn’t even bother to watch “Melrose Place” this week. I keep meaning to watch it online, but honestly . . . . do I care to? Does anyone care about the show anymore? It would take a miracle for it to be saved, and several stars are already booking other projects (the gal that plays Riley has a new pilot for sure). I think this show is toast.
Dixon and Ivy continued a charade of dating to make others jealous, but unfortunately poor Dixon fell for her and hard. This boy falls in love with someone new each week! Dixon meanwhile continued his gambling addiction started by his mom. Didn’t they do this with Brandon originally? Zzzzzzz.
Noami continued to worry about her relationship with Liam, who made the statement if she was like Jen then he couldn’t be with her. Yeah, so she had to keep on lying, till poor Liam attacked the teacher she claimed sexually harassed her. What was Naomi to do? LIE SOME MORE! She claimed Liam was protecting her, which we all know will backfire. Or will it? I worry some student will confirm Naomi’s claim, and she’ll get away with her @$%$#%@#$ again. I have to say, I’ve been bored to death with Liam and Naomi, I liked him with Ivy much better.
Adrianna had a bit of stage fright with her band, and unveiling Gia as her girlfriend, but got over both. Of course Ivy’s mom made her an offer to be her agent, her and only her. Yeah she has to ditch the band. Again Zzzzzzz. This story has been done over and over on many shows.
Ivy found out her mom has something with Mr. Ryan. Love this storyline, so hope we get more of it!
The Annie and Jasper story seemed pushed to the side this week, but it was what I was most interested in. Jasper did try and kill himself, but lived. He still swore to Annie he wouldn’t tell her secret, even though Annie said she didn’t live him. I am still wondering if Annie really killed the guy, or if Jasper had some bizarre hand in his uncles Death to get to Annie. Then there is Annie’s email that is saved or whatever on her PC. When will we hear from that story again?
Speaking of dropped stories, Debbie’s “thing” with the yoga instructor Ki seems to have just vanished as well. Oh and speaking of Vanished, I’m guessing Kelly, who was mentioned but not seen, is also gone.
So I’m just plain confused with “V.” First, it’s been a bit boring as of late. Scott Wolf’s story I think is as abysmal as ever. He has some brain aneurism the Vs found, but he is delaying their healing treatment. Why? More like do we care.
Erica took Tyler to stay with his dad, to get him away from the Vs, but the previews seem to indicate he may not be his dad at all, but an impostor.
Ryan meanwhile infiltrated the mother ship to steal some phosphorus for his wife and their hybrid baby. He met some 5th Column, who warned him if he gives that to his wife there is no going back. What will it do, morph her somehow?
Then there is Anna, still trying to create an army, and now inviting people from all over earth to live on the ship. Supposedly randomly selected people, but I’m sure Tyler will randomly be choses as will Ryan’s wife Victoria and Father Jack.
I don’t know where this is going, or how it will end. It was originally supposed to be a one season show. Are they hoping it will be back next year?
First came the news that Demi Lovato would be making an appearance on the show as a schizophrenic, now TV Guide reveals that Mandy Moore is set to appear on the finale as a patient of Bailey’s, but everthing else is top secret.
