So several of the few reality shows I actually regularly watched* have ended. At this point I think in terms of reality all I have to look forward to is “Big Brother” over the summer.
“Shear Genius” ended with the underdog Brig winning the whole thing. I literally stood up and yelled “YES!” when she won. I loved her final performance, it was different and unique. I think mostly I was just so sick of “The Wonder Twins” just constantly talking down about her and thinking their $@#$@ didn’t stink at all. I also didn’t enjoy Jonathan Antin as one of the judges this season, he too thinks his #$%#$ doesn’t stink. He was the only one who didn’t like what Brig did, so again that helped in my love that she won.
Seth Aaron meanwhile won “Project Runways.” Honestly as long as Mila didn’t win, I was happy. I was somewhat surprised by Emilio’s reaction that he in fact didn’t win. He looked as if he was about to cry, yet at the same time go postal as he thought he should have won the whole thing. He was too certain of himself, and again, lead to his downfall. Honestly though, his collection was colorful, but boring. He got too caught up in putting out something that was marketable and forgot part of this was also a SHOW. Had he put more out of what he had done throughout the season, rather than something marketed to the everyday woman, he could have won it all.
Finally “RuPaul’s Drag Race” crowned Tyra Banks as the season 2 winner. This was a world of NO for me, as I loathed her through the whole show. She’s another “My @#$@#$ don’t stank” person, but unfortunately her stanky @#%@#% took the prize. After seeing the reunion show though, I’m somewhat glad that Raven didn’t win. She was just fairly nasty on it to numerous contestants! I really wanted JuJuBee to win, but it wasn’t meant to be. “RuPaul’s Drag School” is airing this summer though, which could be fun!
* In spite of trying, I still haven’t gotten back into “Dancing With The Stars.” I think Shannan being voted off early didn’t help, and Kate sticking around as long as she did just irked me. I would turn it off half way through when “RuPaul’s Drag Race started.” As for “American Idol,” I watch it sporadically, but

On the latest episode of “Army Wives,” the Spencer Awards were given out, and thanks to help from Roxy and Pamela, Lenora went down and hard! During the banquet Lenore told Roxie off about the high and mighty Claudia Joy after a question and answer session, not having taken her microphone off of course. Pamela made sure everyone heard what she had to say, which basically made her look like an ass. Claudia Joy of course won the award, but probably would have anyways.
Later Claudia Joy and Lenore faced off. Claudia Joy told Lenore the reason she succeeds and Lenore always fails is because Lenore expects something from everyone, she doesn’t understand what it means to be a friend. Lenore felt she only had followers, people who want something from her, never friends. I guess we were in some way supposed to feel bad for her, but I sure didn’t! The woman is bad news, let’s ship her off and not see her again!
Roland’s old partner Price returned, basically begging Roland for money and guilting him, saying Roland would not have this practice without him. Roland wanted him to turn himself in, but Price refused saying he’d never get a fair trial. In the end Roland turned him in, not wanting to jeopardize his family, but then mortgaged the business to pay for Price’s defense. Honestly, I didn’t like Price last season and I am not happy to have him back. But I guess they did leave us hanging with no closure in regards to him, and Roland does need a story while Joan is away. Still, I hope this doesn’t linger.
Joan meanwhile continued her recovery among other patients, who made her realize her new assignment was something to be proud of rather than look down upon. She was assigned to help a unit rebuild a school in Iraq, rather than return straight to fighting.
Finally Trevor and Roxie told the boys about the new baby. They of course were immediately jealous, fearing Trevor would love the new baby more as it was biologically his. He and Roxie told them that would never happen. This story was predictable, and expected.
Next week Pamela ponders the idea of divorce, which would also mean leaving the base and her friends. THIS is the story I’ve been looking forward to. It looks like next week is going to be drama filled!

In Ausiello’s latest “Ask Ausiello” segment, he revealed on of his past blind-items about a show considering a time jump. Considering being the keyword here as it’s not definite.
That show is “Brothers and Sisters!” So what do you think? Will it work? I think given the way things are going, with Kitty wanting to be in office, Robert out the door, and Kevin and Scotty wanting a kid . . . it could happen. They could also fast forward Rebecca and Justin, who have at this point gotten stale and boring.
Your thoughts? A good idea, or a very very bad one?

Brothers And Sisters: We’re Having A Baby, Well Some Of Us . . .

On the latest episode of “Brothers and Sisters,” Kevin and Scotty went to a psychic that Kevin thought was a con artist, but all her quirky predictions came true throughout the episode. I thought she was funny, and would like to have seen them go back to her in the end and thank her, and have Kevin apologize for being so rude during their session. In the end, Scotty and Kevin’s surrogate was pregnant.
Sarah worried throughout the whole show that she was pregnant, but in the end she wasn’t. Luc thought it would have been great, but she disagreed especially with him going away the next day. However he didn’t, and was saved with a Green Card at the last minute. While we knew Luc was going to stay, or not be gone forever, I felt this end was a bit rushed. It was just so last minute “surprise you’re saved!” I just didn’t feel satisfied I guess.
Nora and Saul’s mom Ida made a return, and she was not doing well. She was losing her memory, showing signs of either dementia or Alzheimer’s. Nora, always the problem solver, wanted her to live with her. Ida was against this from the start, and was at times mean and nasty to Nora. Nora fretted as to how she never had a good or close relationship with her mom. However in a moment where she thought she was with a friend, she confessed how Nora was a great mom, had great kids, and she did not want to be a burden to her. In the end, Ida seemed to head off to a home she herself found. Sadly Saul never came out to his mom, it’s a secret he’d been keeping from her his whole life and he didn’t tell her in this episode either.
The end of the show set up some stories that could lead to the death of some of our beloved Walkers in the upcoming season finale. Justin, moved over the death of one of his friends in Iraq, began to think perhaps he should go back to the war as a medic. Okay what what what !?!? First, wasn’t he discharged? Second, couldn’t he just finish medical school and go as part of doctor’s without borders or something? To see Justin just want to ditch school and return to the army irked me, as we’ve become so invested in him not flunking out of school all season long!
We meanwhile learned that Robert didn’t get his job because his heart wasn’t good enough, but because someone else in the government with their own plans for him put the 86 on the other job. We don’t know what it the original was aside from being in DC. The other job has to do with serving the country in some way, which Robert accepted. What is he going to be doing? Returning to duty as a general perhaps or something? He can’t be a spy, as he’s too well known!
There was no word on Narrow Lake in this episode, but Season Finale spoilers give the major hint that it is a spring of some sorts. So it looks like it is some kind of bottle water plan after all. Really? With the amount of bottled waters already out there this is what is going to save them? I’m hoping there is something bigger here honestly.
Comments Off on Brothers And Sisters: We’re Having A Baby, Well Some Of Us . . .
I really don’t have much to comment on last nights “Desperate Housewives” other than to say that I was not a fan of this episode at all. It seemed as if they wanted us to not only feel sorry for Eddie, but blame all the women for him becoming a killer. Yeah he had a rotten child hood, yeah he was used and abused, but I’m not going to excuse him going around killing people because of it!
We did learn that he attacked Julie not knowing who she was. It seemed like he thought she was Susan, who was his target after she was going to remarry Mike, much to Eddie’s dismay (just another woman he fell for and was rejected).
The show ended with Eddie moving in with Lynette, who felt his home life was too terrible. Little does she know he had just killed his mother, who found out he was killing all these women.

V, Happy Town and Grey’s Spoilers for Mid-May, 2010
Posted by Dustin on 04.26.2010 at 1:57 pm
Spoiler highlights include . . . .
– Someone close to Anna is violently attacked on “V” . . . Lisa?
– A town festival on “Happy Town” leads to evil.
– Demi Lovato checks in on “Grey’s,” while Meredith worries about Owen?
So I really loved this past week’s “Parenthood.” The news that there is a second season coming is great too.
Zeke and Adam took a roadtrip, Zeke is in some trouble with investments he made and now he’s stuck with some worthless land he can’t unload. So more trouble between him and his wife with more secrets it would seem. I don’t recall them ever resolving some of the issues from the pilot, where Sarah learned her dad was sleeping in the guest house as well as had condoms in the desk drawer.
Julia thought her daughter might have Asperger’s as well, but it turned out she was just bored at school as she’s gifted. I thought that story was pretty predictable. I just hope they don’t make Julia go even more nuts over her daughter as she already is (ie the swimming pool scene). I could see her becoming overbearing with school and pressuring her.
Speaking of school, Amber did have a crush on her teacher and was less than pleased her mom was interested in him. She then took back up with her loser ex, which caused more drama between her and her mom. Sarah just didn’t want her making the same mistakes she did. In the end, Amber realized her ex was a loser who didn’t know how to pronounce marauders. That was a great scene! It also looks like her teacher returns for the finale, and will be back next season. There is still hope for Sarah and the teach yet it seems. They are my favorite storyline.
I really enjoyed Crosby’s storyline with Jasmine, Jabbar’s, and Jasmine’s family this week. Jasmine let her family think Crosby abandoned her and Jabbar, so it was hilarious when there was conflict between her family and his at the party. I knew it would happen, Zeke played the race card thinking they didn’t like them because they were white. Everyone else immediately started saying “We think he has a brain tumor! He might have turrets!” It was one of the funniest scenes of the whole show. The truth came out of course, and we can see Crosby and Jasmine might actually have a future as a couple. I’m sure the ex/frozen egg lady though will suddenly show up wanting Crosby still to mess up things.
