V: There’s A Lot Of V On The Way! But Not Till March . . .

This week was the final “V” of the year, and the show won’t return till March.

Ryan, Erica and the Father worked to bring down a major V headquarters on earth. Erica also learned Ryan was a visitor and he told her about The Fifth Column.

Scott Wolf’s character (I still never remember his name!) did a story on the visitor healing centers that have cropped up around the country.

Lisa took Tyler to meet her mother Anna, and he got a big peak inside the ship.

Anna lead an inquisition to find out who on the medical team had betrayed them to The Fifth Column. It was the chief medical officer, but his assistant protected him and came forward as the traitor. The officer was then forced to skin the guy, which thankfully we did NOT have to see.

The show ended with Ryan’s wife informing her that she was pregnant, Dale (I think it was Dale, Erica’s partner) stabbingg the father, and a HELL of a lot of V ships on their way to Earth.

Some thoughts . . . .

Having Ryan’s wife end up pregnant was a good twist, especially since it seemed Anna was planning for Lisa to get knocked up. This leads me to wonder if Anna is planning something else for Tyler?

Also, shouldn’t Ryan have been just a little more careful? Now that I think about it, this twist isn’t so twisty. Anna will find out and want this baby, which is exactly what happened in the initial series.

I’m really wanting to know who John May is. Is it someone we’ve met, or are they planning to bring in someone? Marc Singer Marc Singer! If not him, maybe Freddy is available? Or Diana would rock too! Ohh but I guess she’s not really the John type huh?

That was a lot of V ships on their way to earth I have to say, and well I don’t think there is enough of us to feed them all. So are they planning a departure from the original storyline? Hmmm, maybe I should have marked that as a spoiler? Well if you never watched the original, the V came under the guise they needed water for their dying planet, but what they really needed was food, and we were the food.

  1. I don’t think Ryan and what’s her name are even married yet. I think he proposed in one of the first two episodes. I cannot even wrap my head around how a lizard alien sperm would be compatible with a human egg!

I think Scott Wolfe’s character is Chad Decker.

I am kind of irritated to have to wait until March. I feel like I should have just watched the first four episodes online in March. Hah! I should really take this time to watch the old series, but I don’t know how much it would spoil.

  2. Your right, I think he did propose. And yes that’s Scott’s character lol (I was too lazy to look it up!).

The first 2 miniseries actually are very good, though the effects are somewhat funny to watch now. Okay and honestly, the end of the 2nd miniseries was rather stupid 🙂 Which was bad since it was good up to that point.

They used to all be up on Hulu if you don’t have Netflix or something of the like to grab them from.

  3. As soon as we learned that the V’s had been on earth for years and as sleepers with spouses, I knew that would change the pregnancy story line. A few possibilities, either the V’s didn’t think they could mate successfully but with their medical technology I think they would know one way or the other or if they could mate, then the V’s were instructed to hook up with infertile humans.

We saw him buying the ring as the V’s arrived and he proposed when she found the ring in his coat or pants.

  4. I don’t think it was Erica’s partner who stabbed the Father – I think it was the guy from the warehouse that the Father punched. I hate that we have to wait until March, I know it is some marketing ploy or something but it could backfire!

  5. My mom had a crazy good thought – the older priest is a V!

  6. YEah the minute the one guy said the V had been here for year and were involved in orchestrating wars and what not, I knew that priest was one 🙂 Plus they had him point out the vatican ruling on aliens.
