Army Wives: Denise Can Be A Real . . . Piece Of Work?

Army Wives: Denise Can Be A Real . . . Piece Of Work?

Because I’m behind, and don’t want to get further behind, I’m doing a more of a thoughts post with some recap added in on the latest “Army Wives.”

First up, Michael got the news that Ft Marshall was on the shortlist of bases the Army might cut. Um, yeah since that would be the end of the show, I think all of us know that one isn’t going to happen.

Jeremy continued to deal with the loss of his friend, which was made worse this week when he learned the LeBlanc’s adopted Lucky. I felt so bad for Jeremy, who then got drunk and started a fight at the hump. Next week’s previews for the finale said we’ll be left speechless by a scene. I think Denise standing in front of her house with her hand over her mouth either says it all, or is a big misleading teaser. A lot of the stuff that happened in this episode was “drama’d-up” in last week’s previews for sure.

Trevor continued to coach and help the overweight out-of-shape kid, who passed all the tests he needed to get into the army. I just am worried that something will happen to this kid, like a heart attack or something, and will send Trevor into a downward spiral of guilt.

Roland and Price got arrested this week because of a patient and racist cops. OMG I was so cursing when all this went down, but it lead to a bigger story. Price, knowing the local cops had his prints, had to flee . . . the country I’m guessing as he grabbed his passport. He wouldn’t tell Roland why, because the less he knew the better. I’m thinking Price wasn’t a doctor at all, and that’s why he ran. He did mean well and want to help people, but either his license was revoked or he was a fraud.

Violet had to fill in for a singer who called out sick at The Hump, and shocked Roxy with how amazing she was. A talent scout was in the audience and made her an offer to sing in his club in Atlanta, which she refused. He wasn’t going to give up though. Are we going to lose Violet? My guess is no, as she’ll probably become the permanent singer at The Hump instead, as well as Roxy’s official business partner.

Finally the FRG competed in a golf tournament, one in which Denise was determined to win. However they had to replace players on their team with Roxy and Pamela, both who weren’t the best players. Denise lost it on poor Roxy, screaming at her for losing the game for them. Denise had to apologize, but Roxy was glad to know she wasn’t the only one to lose her Shhhhhh every once and awhile. I was hating Denise up until this part and Roxy’s line to her, which in fact made me giggle.
