“Big Brother” started off tonight finishing the HOH comp that was started last Thursday. Kevin ended up winning the HOH.
Michelle broke down, knowing she was alone and probably going on the block. Jeff meanwhile felt he was safe.
Kevin got his HOH room and a letter from his boyfriend, who all the girls were going gaga over.
Kevin and Nat made Jeff feel falsely safe and that Michelle was the target this week. Kevin however realized everyone wanted Michelle gone and would love him if he was the one to oust her.
Kevin played a little love match game, trying to quiz Jeff on the type of girls he liked and how Jordan stacked up. Ironically she didn’t do all that well!
Kevin had a talk with Jeff, basically telling him that he had to put him on the block because if he put Jordan up and Jeff won and saved Jordan, then he’d have to put Natalie up and risk her going home. Jeff wasn’t pleased, but Kevin swore he was not his target. Kevin soon began to second guess himself and wasn’t sure what to do.
In the end, the nominations were held and Kevin put up Michelle and Jeff. He claimed he was only nominating them because they were the strongest players in the house, this wasn’t personal.
Tuesday will be the POV (already a post spoiling it if you want to know) as well as the revelation of what is behind a mystery door in the HOH room.
Tennis champ Andy Rodick’s wife Brooklyn Decker will make a guest appearance on “Ugly Betty” as a co-worker of Betty’s.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessie Williams (“Greek”) join’s “Grey’s Anatomy” for multiple episodes as “a confident medical professional.”
Everything in this post has been posted in comments in the previous “Big Brother” post, I’m just bringing it all into one concise place. Read on for the spoilers . . .
Because of my illness this week, and it’s so late at this point, I’m simply doing a quick thoughts post on the latest “Army Wives” rather than a recap and a thoughts.
I don’t have too much to comment on Roxy’s older son’s jealousy of Finn, it was pretty much a filler storyline.
Trevor’s reluctance to agree to his friends request to call his family should something happen to him (and vice versa) just spells trouble. Yeah, someone is gunna end up having to make a call for sure now. I’ve been worried about Trevor all season, so this isn’t good.
I loved seeing Michael apologize to Denise and thank her for saving Claudia Joy’s life, but could he at least shake her hand or give the woman a hug!
Finally Claudia Joy found out that she has Type II Diabetes. Okay, now I know it’s a serious medical condition and all . . . but I was expecting something huge like a brain tumor. Of course we know they aren’t going to give her something that would kill her, as she is the major star of the show.
Finally the previews show Pamela worried as she hasn’t heard from Chase in awhile, and then a black car rolls up to her house. Have they killed Chase? Given there are still a few episodes left to the season, I can’t see them doing this now. I could see them thinking he’s dead, only to find out he’s not. Honestly though, I’ve been wondering when they would tackle the story of one of the “Army Wives” no longer being an army wife.
Because it’s been a few days, I’m going to just make a post with my thoughts on the latest “True Blood” episode.
So Sookie and Bill came home and had a tiff with Maryann. Bill vomited black blood when he tried to drain her, so he’s powerless against her. However Sookie had this weird “Use the force” moment where she pushed Maryann away in a bright light. Bill wondered how she did it, Sookie didn’t know. As they ran, Maryann said “What are you?” That’s exactly what Lorena said the week before to Barry when she bit into him. So clearly they are hinting that Sookie and Barry are supernaturals as well, or maybe half-sup? If Sookie is, then wouldn’t Jason be one too? I’m intrigued as to what Sookie really is.
Hoyt’s mother playing Wii to focus her anger was hilarious! At the end though, poor Hoyt when Jessica pounced on his mother. My guess is she’s going to end up sick from black blood as well though, which will save Hoyt’s mom’s life.
Jason was great this week, and I swear they were playing the “A-Team” theme music for him. That or something that was pretending to sound like it. I did feel Sam was a dolt for walking into Arlene’s trap at Merlots the way he did. Boy are Maryann’s zombiefied people dumb though! I loved Jason pretending to be their horned devil and smiting Sam. Sam, who turned into a fly to act like he had been killed, clearly is going to have to tell Jason and Andy who or what he is. Well, perhaps not. He could claim it was an old magic trick. Jason isn’t too bright, and Andy is drunk.
At the end of the show Sookie and Bill, working to glamor and get into Tara’s head, managed to save her. Just barely though. Clearly they can’t do that with the whole town, so they are going to have to find a way to kill Maryann to save the town. Bill going to find the Vampire Queen should finally spell Maryann’s demise.
We only have 2 episodes left and so far not a hint of what evil thing will be the focus of next season.
The show started up with a recap of the week’s events. Natalie and Kevin’s scheme continued, and they planed to get rid of Russell as well as hopefully win to put up Jeff. Jeff of course thinks he made a deal with them to keep himself safe next week.
Michelle feared if she didn’t win HOH that she would go out the door this week.
Jeff and Russell got into a huge fight in the backyard. Russell warned Jeff he better win this game, because he’d beat him up if he walked into the jury house. Nat brought Jordan into the fight. The entire fight had to have every other word bleeped out basically.
Kevin was propositioned by Russell to make a deal to keep him and oust Natalie, but Kevin wasn’t sure as it was a scary move.
Russ continued to make it uncomfortable in the house, and told them all they couldn’t trust Jeff as he’d put every single one of them up.
Before the vote, we saw Jessie’s time relaxing in the jury house. We also saw him reunited with Lydia! She told him she was mad at him, did he think they wouldn’t compare notes? OF course as she called him a lying sack of . . . she was hugging him and being all cutesy. JEssie then learned that Chima went nuts and was kicked out of the game.
The live vote was held, but first Julie revealed there would be no more have-have not’s for the remainder of the summer.
The two nominees were allowed to plead their case. Natalie basically said she’s loved being on the show, and she assumed that she was not being evicted from what she was told, so thanks for keeping her. Russell was flabbergasted by Natalie’s speech. He said to everyone good luck, they are all amazing.
Jordan, Kevin and Michelle all voted to evict Russell, making his demise unanimous. Russell gave everyone hugs on the way out and then talked to Julie.
Russell revealed to Julie that he would have kept the final four deal and then teamed up with Michelle to take Jeff and Jordan out. He said he knew Jeff was smart to do this, and he was trying to get Jeff riled up to say things to incriminate him.
The HOH comp was held. The houseguests had to race back and forth with a cup of hot chocolate, filling their bowl, floating a marshmallow to the top and out the bowl. It will be a long night before we know who the new HOH is! I’ll post the new HOH in the comments when I find out!
So this is just a quick blathering of thoughts about the Season Six premier of “Project Runway” on Lifetime.
First, oooo-weee did they pick a cast of characters! Primadonnas, ditzy blonds, guys having nervous breakdowns, a woman living on another planet and an Asian guy who thinks he’s the lead singer for Kajagoogo. Yes this show sure can pick them!
I thought it was interesting that the ex-drug addict who was about to crack and give up had one of the best outfits, along with the boy from Minnesota who won the challenge and had no formal training.
Meanwhile those bottom three . . . what to even say? I have to admit even though that one girl was a space cadet, she at least sewed something. That other guy had a collar and a see-through cloth draped over his model. I kinda thought he should have gone home simply because he really didn’t do a thing.
It should be an interesting season for sure!
This is a VERY short recap of tonight’s show, basically because I’ve been sick as a dog the past two days. I haven’t even been able to watch feeds or after dark (hence the lack of posts).
Basically Jeff was paranoid about Russell and “the lie” that Nat and Kev told him, which was more of a stretching of the truth. That and the fact that Russell voted for Jessie to stay when he saved him from the block with the power.
Russell was just as paranoid that he’d be put up if the veto was used, and Michelle was her usual “non-committal” self to anyone.
Natalie and Kevin hoped Jeff would stick to the plan to use them as pawns to backdoor Russell. Kevin said in a diary session that they would stab Jeff in the back first chance they got. To his face, they promised him that if Russell went home, and they were HOH next week, he would not go up (which means Michelle and Jordan would).
The veto game, hosted by Casey’s voice, was played and Jeff won. Jeff then used the veto on Russell, who swore to make Chima look like an angel this week!
Personally, I am torn. I don’t think Russell could be trusted, and to get him out is a good move. At the same time, clearly Nat and Kevin can’t be trusted either.
Jeff now has too much riding on Jordan or Michelle winning Veto. Michelle would put up Kevin and Nat is my thinking. However Big Brother likes to feed the drama, so I expect this HOH to be an endurance competition, and with Jeff unable to play and Russell possibly going home, Nat could win it.
The flip side is if Russell convinces Kevin and Michelle to keep him, they can turn the tide against Jordan and Jeff. I think he’d have a hard time getting Kevin to vote for him honestly.
Oh the drama!
