Jeff had won, and as reported in the “After Dark” spoilers, Ronnie did indeed put Jordan up against Laura. His plan is to get Laura out for sure, he thinks she’s a threat to him.
Personally I think Ronnie has let himself be brainwashed by the Athletic crowd, and he’ll find his butt on the block next week.
