George Out, Arizona In on Grey’s
Ausiello confirmed today that T.R. Knight will be leaving “Grey’s.” He was supposed to appear in the first three episodes of next season, but that won’t happen. What does that mean? Probably that when the show picks up, George will be dead but Izzie alive. Heigl’s future with the show still isn’t know yet either! We may not even see the resolution of the elevator scene when the show returns given Knight won’t be back, just some summary as to what happened. It’s unknown at this point.
In better news, Jessica Capshaw who plays Arizona Robbins the pediatric doctor has been promoted to series regular next season.
Why do tv shows do that…never really end the story the right way? I hope they aren’t going to do do a flash forward like DH & then do flashbacks of the funeral & stuff like that…I’m VERY disappointed…If T.R. Knight decided not to return for the first couple of episodes, then he has disappointed his fans.

Maybe they did all the elevator scenes already, and we might get closure. Maybe they filmed 2 different ones just in case he wouldn’t be back. But this sucks if we don’t get to see the elevator scene finished.

Well they could just pay him for using older footage or do some white out of the screen with Izzy living and knowing George is dead when she wakes up.

Either George is dead or he was so disfigured they’ll give him a new face and he will be played by someone else.

I am really ticked off that George was written out. Anyone know why T.R. and Shonda were at odds with each other? I can see why T.R. would want to leave, given that he had no story line (until the last episode), but what fueled it all? Is the actor a real a-hole on set?

Shonda has said no George recast. So he probably dies.
TR said the decision to leave was really hard in a statent he released.
Katherine is now confirmed as staying

I know, that Shonda claimed that the cliff hanger with George is why he had almost no storyline for most of the year. So that, we wouldn’t notice when he went missing for half the final. I think it’s a weak excuse but it does make sense.
It really is a shame if there’s no closure o.- and they really must not have been getting along if he wouldn’t even guest start to end his s/l

What do you guys think about Arizona? I like the character and I LOVE that they have a lesbian storyline but I have a hard time seeing Callie as a convincing lesbian/bisexual. I just found she had more chemistry with Sloan (even just sexually not necessarily romantic). I thought Erica Hahn was very convincing though. Maybe now that Callie will have more of a stable relationship I will see it though.
