Is Lafeyette Alive . . . Or Undead?
When “True Blood” ended last season, it looked like Lafeyette had been attacked and left for dead. But is he? The show has been pretty tight lipped about it. Stephen Moyer (Bill) gave an interview to Kristin at E! awhile back and basically said he hoped Lafeyette would be back at some point, but didn’t know. It sounded like he was a goner. However various photos from the “True Blood” season 2 premier party floating around the web have actor Nelsan Ellis in attendance. So what do we think? I have a feeling we will be lead to think he’s dead, only to see him show up near the end of the season as an undead.
I have read all of the Charlaine Harris books in which True Blood is based on. I don’t get HBO (though I wish I did), but I rented the 1st season on DVD and I have to say it stays pretty true to the storylines for the most part, but there are some big differences as well. I don’t believe Lafeyette will be back, but then again the show writers could change that.
