Medium Says Goodbye To NBC With An Insane Cliffhanger

Medium Says Goodbye To NBC With An Insane Cliffhanger

I don’t know what ticks me off more, that NBC canceled Medium, or that we could have been left with the cliffhanger we got last night and left dangling forever. Fortunately CBS picked the show up, so we won’t have to never not know what happened.

Allison was having dreams that the Mexican drug cartel killed her entire family. A drug war from Mexico had spilled into Texas and Arizona, and she was brought in to help find a guy that was killing people to intimidate families and law enforcement agencies. She was working with a guy whose wife was killed by this guy in a car bomb. All the while, Allison was having headaches. As it turned out, she had a brain tumor. She knew it was benign, but it left alone it would have killed her as it kept growing. She also saw that if she had the surgery, she might lose her gift, and then never be able to save her family. She risked her life, avoiding the surgery, to catch the killer. Of course he was linked to the special agent whose wife died. He was on the take, she found out, so they killed her! Allison saved her family, but had a stroke before surgery and was in a coma. We were left not knowing if or when she’d wake up and if her gift was still in tact.

OMG! Horrible cliffhanger. To think if the show was not saved, we’d be left with that? Thankfully CBS saw a future with this show, and I think paired with “Ghost Whisperer” on Friday, well it’s gunna rock. Plus we finally get a full season of “Medium,” which means a possible Christmas episode!

  1. I’d like to believe that NBC would have at least given us a final movie if they had canceled the show with that ending and CBS had passed. I still can’t believe NBC dumped a show that people are actually watching?

And, while I happy they’re keeping Chuck, it sounds like they’re going to gut it in the name of cost cutting.

Perhaps NBC just needs to turn out the lights one night per week (or run some infomercials) to save money instead of ruining the few decent shows it has.

and were get a full season of medium instead of midseason!!!
i think what will happen inregards to Allison, i think she’ll come out of it with her gift intact which will be a maricle!!!!! but will be paralized for awhile cause of her stroke!!!

i pray when Heroes comes back it won’t be cancelled after this season cause it is on NBC!!!
