Brothers and Sisters: Threesomes and Sexy Dresses!
Posted by Dustin on 04.21.2009 at 9:30 pm
“Brothers and Sisters” finally came back, and boy was this one of the best episodes all season. LOVED IT!
Chad returned in this episode, giving Kevin a big smooch right on the street! He said he owed him for being so closeted before. Kevin told him about Scotty, and Chad suggested they all go out for drinks. Scotty was a big fan of his, so he agreed. Chad of course proposed a threesome. Oh no no no! Of course they considered it, which lead to fighting between them, which lead to them agreeing they need to remain committed and monogamous and not go there. Phew! This could have been the end of Kevin and Scotty had they gone there honestly. Chad just go away at this point.
Sarah returned to work at Ojai, which suddenly became hunka hunka central. So many good looking men were now working there, and well she was in heat and needed some good luvin. She ended up hooking up with Cal, an accountant. Of course the next day she found out Cal was a temp and yesterday was his last day! Poor poor Sarah. She needs to find a man that will be good to her and she will be happy with. Oh she also needs to kick Holly out . . . I don’t care how nice Holly is being as of late . . . she’s waiting in the grass to strike and kill!
Nora’s open-marriage boyfriend Roger returned, to tell her he left his wife and wanted to be with her only. Sarah may have struck out, but Nora may finally have a winner of a guy! Okay well aside from the whole thing with he was married and in an open relationship. Of course now that’s standing in Nora’s way is Nora . . . well her children. They’re grown, time to move on with your life at this point! She can’t make plans until Tommy returns home at this point.
Ryan continued to be creepy, and not in a good way, putting the moves on Rebecca. Either she’s in denial or doesn’t see it, or she likes the attention. Even David told her Ryan was basically trying to get in her pants. At this point, let’s discover Ryan isn’t a Walker after all and send him far far away! I loath him, I don’t feel sorry for him, he’s creepy gross.
Justin took Rebecca to the spot where they had her first kiss to apologize for basically being the one to let their families come between them, when it was his idea not to let that happen. Justin was the man, it would have been NICE if Rebecca had also apologized. She wasn’t little miss innocent either.
Robert attempted to work on things with Kitty, to get the romance and the relationship back. He realized he was losing her. In some respects, it’s a little too late Robert! Kitty meanwhile was getting way too close with another single dad in the park. I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this. Kitty realizes what is going on, but doesn’t want to talk or face the problem with Robert. She’s acting like she can’t deal with it right now, and that’s the wrong thing to do. Time to have it all out, but the previews look like Robert catches her red handed flirting away.
Tommy was supposed to return this week, but called Julia to say he wasn’t coming back yet, he had to “find himself.” Next week it looks like Julia is going home to live with her parents. I hope the Walkers change her mind!
Desperate Housewives: Edie’s Ashes
Posted by Dustin on 04.21.2009 at 5:20 pm
So on this week’s “Desperate Housewives,” well it was more of a “Goodbye Edie” show than anything really. Lynette, Bree, Susan, Gabby and Karen took a roadtrip to see Travers, give him the news of Edie’s passing and take him her ashes. Along the way they all remembered fond moments with Edie, all fake flashback created for this episode.
Travers decided the girls should spread his mom’s ashes, they’d know where best to put her. They of course decided to put her all over Wisteria Lane in all their yards.
Nothing new was really learned in this episode, but it was a fun episode. The neat part was instead of Mary Alice doing the narrating, Edie did. I would say it would be fun to have Edie and Mary Alice trading off in future episodes, but it seems Nichollette Sheridan has fired off about being fired, so something tells me she won’t be welcomed back much!

The producers and writers of “Heroes” sat down with E! and gave an interview about the final two episodes! There are some pretty big spoilers, and combined with earlier spoilers, we can seemingly figure things out.
We are told Nathan and Sylar will face off – uh oh! Earlier spoilers had Sylar killing an original hero and that person would STAY dead!
It seems Matt does something that kills someone as well! My guess is Danko/The Hunter.
Finally it looks like our speculation about Tracy was correct and she’s not as dead as we all thought!
The interview contains hints about next season, which may or not be a hit with many based on part of the focus – the past.
Ugly Betty Returns One Week Early!
Posted by Dustin on 04.20.2009 at 4:45 pm
“Ugly Betty” was supposed to return on May 7th, but news broke today it will come back a week early, April 30th.
According to Variety, the new comedy “In the Motherhood,” and “Samantha Who” are being pulled off a week early due to poor ratings.
It’s not yet known if the episode of “Samantha,” possibly the finale, will be aired at another point. It also doesn’t bode well for the show which many say is on the bubble and in danger of being dropped.
Housewives Returns: So Does Someone Special?

Don’t forget, “Desperate Housewives” FINALLY returns tonight! To celebrate, here are some new scoops floating around.
E! ran into Dana Delaney at the GLAAD media awards and she had some loose lips. She revealed not only does Jackson propose to Susan, but Mike to Katherine!
Meanwhile at the Paley Festival panel for “Housewives,” Marc Cherry revealed at the end of this season someone we haven’t seen since seasons 1 or 2 returns!
Korbi has guessed John the Garder or crazy Zach or Paul Young!

The season finale for “Grey’s” is being filmed, so it seems, and the paparazzi got some key shots which seem to tell a lot!
You can see many of the images here at laineygossip.com, though it seems they and everyone else (including E!) got them from Flynetonline.com, a celeb photography site.
The images definitely show Meredith wearing something un-wedding like, a big purple dress. While Alex is the one looking like a groom compared to McDreamy and McSteamy.
E!’s Kristin has a set source saying it was definately Katherine Heigl wearing the wedding dress as the scene was shot.
So are Izzie and Alex getting hitched? Looks like it, though Ausiello tweeted awhile back that they weren’t the ones getting married in the 100th episode. This isn’t the 100th episode, this seems to be the finale!
Who is getting married on Derek and Meredith’s wedding day then on the 100th episode? I’m going to take a stab and say Derek and Meredith. I think there will be two weddings, leading to all this confusion. I do think Der and Mer’s nuptials will get ruined and they’ll be married in the OR as they perform a surgery. It just seems fitting.
*updated* Spotted by Joy, the second photo of Derek has him clearly sporting a wedding ring! You have to open it up, his hand is cute off by the thumbnail.
Ghost Whisperer New NEXT Week! Can’t Miss Episode!

From the previews at the end of this week’s repeat, next week a must see episode for “Ghost Whisperer” fans. It’s when Melinda finds out she’s pregnant with Jim’s (not Sam/Jim’s) baby!

Harper’s Islands: BAM! You’re Dead!
Posted by Dustin on 04.17.2009 at 8:35 pm
So the second episode of “Harper’s Island” premiered last night. I’m finding recapping the show difficult, because there are so many people, many of whom I still can’t remember their names . . . some I still don’t know who the heck they are! So forgive me when I don’t use the proper names!
The show was kinda divided into two parts. First up, Henry and his bride Trish had come up with this scavenger hunt for the wedding guests. During it a lot of “stuff” went down.
Cal, the English guy, got caught in some snare trap, pulling him up into a tree and leaving him hanging upside down. This other guy, whose name I don’t know, found him but left him. NICE! He had the hots for Cal’s girlfriend, so he decided to try and get closer to her. Fortunately she wanted nothing to do with the jerk. Meanwhile a poor old priest fell into the same kind of trap, and was quickly decapitated by the killer!
Abby, during the hunt, ran into her old boyfriend (whose name I’m forgetting) and his creepy friend Shane (whose name I remember because he’s an ass!). They were hunting deer, which grossed her out. When the two guys returned to their car . . . a dead deer was over the hood and “Psycho” written in blood on the windshield!
Later Henry returned to his room, only to find a deer head in his tub!
Abby ran into this goth girl at a diner, I think her name was Kelly. She really latched onto Abby. It turns out both their mothers were killed by John Wakefield. She envied Abby for getting off the island. Abby revealed her father send her away, she didn’t leave on her own. The other girl wanted off the island, basically begging Abby to let her come stay with her in L.A. until she got on her feet. She quickly apologized for seeming rude and presumptuous. She then revealed lately she had been seeing John Wakefield. Abby said impossible, her dad killed him. The girl asked then why she saw him?
Later Abby went to the girls house to invite her to stay with her in L.A. She thanked her. She then ended up in a kinky sex scene with Henry’s brother J.D., who is also very goth . . as well as a bit deranged. We learned last time he had tried to kill himself before, and he’s on a lot of meds.
Elsewhere, Trish met with Hunter, her ex, to find out what he was up to. He claimed he wanted her back, and brought up her father . . . . She talked to her friend about Hunter. We learned Hunter was basically a creep, which is why Trish dumped him. Hunter went to see Trish’s dad, yeah he brought Hunter there to stop the wedding. Shocker! The father clearly doesn’t think Henry is good enough. Trish later confronted her dad about Hunter. Her dad lied, saying Hunter came to him saying how much he still loves her, he felt for the guy so he brought him in to make sure things were over. Trish let her dad know she wanted to marry Henry.
The end of the episode involved a bonfire at the beach. Henry earlier had invited Abby’s former boyfriend, who was his best friend on the island too. He even invited Shane, before knowing Abby told him Shane and the other guy were hunting deer. At the bonfire he decked Shane, thinking he had left the deer head in his tub.
Cal’s girlfriend, at the bonfire, realized she couldn’t find him. The guy that was after her just then remembered, he left him strung up in the woods! They found him, alive fortunately. Unfortunately for the girl with the pooch, well she wasn’t as lucky. She ended up falling into a pit in the woods and the killer set her on fire!
The show ended with the goth girl (Kelly’s?) friend showing up at her house. She was hanging from the rafters, literally! Everyone ended up at her place as Abby’s dad the sherrif arrived.
My Thoughts
First up, let’s have a scavenger hunt on the creepy island where many people were killed not long ago. Yeah, great idea!
I’m not sure who the killer is at this point. I do however think either John Wakefield wasn’t the original killer. If he was, well then he has a kid avenging him.
They seemed to want us to think it is J.D., and I think as soon as bodies are found, everyone else will think it’s him because of his mental issues history.
The previews of shows to come I think were a lot better than this episode. The creepy little girl who talks to spirits . . . awesome!
