Private Practice: Pregnant and Married!
Last week Charlotte’s dad, “Big Daddy” died. She had to go home as he was on his death bed and Cooper flew in to support her. This act brought them back together, on top of all the recent past episodes in which they were getting closer again.
However in this week’s episode, Charlotte kinda flipped out and proposed to Cooper. However she didn’t want a big wedding, she wanted to marry him in Vegas, the next day. He eventually told her that he wanted to marry her, but she was still grieving, and her wedding day should be the happiest day of her life. She was angry and stormed off. I have to say, I’m worried about Charlotte. I get the feeling they are building her character to either a complete mental breakdown or to revealing some kind of very serious personality disorder. She’s very hot-n-cold.
Last week Violet finally got busted for dating two guys. She also got a bit of an infection/rash from too much sex! Pete flipped out on her, but Sheldon stuck by her. These two kept dating, only for Violet to learn she was pregnant and didn’t know who the father was. Oh boy!
This week Pete and Sam dealt with a dying cancer patient who wanted to end his life. Pete wanted to help him, Sam didn’t. In the end though Sam was present as the patient injected himself with morphine. Sam and Pete watched him and reflected on their own lives, as the guy had no family and basically was dying alone. Pete feared that could be him one day. You could see the writing on the wall, he is going to try and make things work with Violet. She’ll have 2 men after her and not know which is the baby’s daddy.
Addison and Kevin continued to have issues last week, and Addison kissed Wyatt, who asked her out on a date. This week Kevin suspected something wrong, and eventually she told him about the kiss. She also dumped him, saying that kiss was the only time she hadn’t had a knot in her stomach. Ouch, poor Kevin, and I guess so long? Then Addison went to see Wyatt, only to find her brother having sex with Naomi in Wyatt’s office! He then welcomed his sister to his new office.
So this I have to say confused me. I get that her brother is coming to work for the enemy, Pacific Welcare. However is he taking over Wyatt’s office space? Is Wyatt gone now too? It would be classic for Addison to dump Kevin only to find Wyatt left town as well!
You’re not the only one confused, I also really hope that isn’t how they get rid of Wyatt it’s lame. And I was a little surprised that during the flashback after Addison kissed Wyatt he just told her to lose the clothes like that. I get that they had him coming across as a big egomaniac but that was just out there and random. “Hey we have a sweet kiss now get naked”
Cooper and Charlotte are going to make me tug my hair out, I so loved their scenes last week especially when Cooper held her while she was crying on the plane and then this week was like another step back.
As for Violet/Pete/Sheldon, I don’t know I’m on the fence. I kind of like it and I kind of don’t but I do have to say her scene with Cooper when she was sitting in the closet and just started to lose it was pretty funny and I was glad to see them have a moment like that.
And, hey at least the baby didn’t die =)
Now, 😐 I adore this show, possibly my favorite one on tv at the moment but all these swinging door relationships are going to get me confused.
Season one was all Addison and Pete, then that was forgotten and then it became Addison and Kevin, only to have Wyatt show up and now he might already be gone and she has another guy sliding in I believe? I know the guy who plays Wyatt has his own show but I really hope this isn’t how he goes away. I kind of liked him.
Then you had Naomi and Sam, then her and Dell, then Dell got kicked to the curb when she got back with Sam, then that’s ended and now she’s with Addison’s brother. Does that mean Dell is in the dark again?
And on a completely random note about Addison and Wyatt. I did find it shitty that Addison kicked such a fuss over Naomi working with him and then just jumped into doing so herself. That was kinda lame.

I have to say I really want Violet and Cooper together. I thought they would end up together, just like Addison would with Pete.
However maybe that was too predictable, or the show is taking the long way around.
Also what happened to the voice in the elevator from the first episode? Tilly? I thought that was really funny!

Just as Wyatt was growing on me, he’s gone?? I was actually starting to like him!!
Right now, I am definitely supporting Violet with Pete – and he needs to be the father of her baby. Not creepy Sheldon. I would also really like to see Addison happy with someone. I want Coop with his Southern Belle, but I am glad they are waiting a while before marriage. That would have been a serious mistake so soon after the death of her Big Daddy. Is Grant Show joining as a regular cast member? Or is he guest starring?
