Army Wives: Attacked!

Because I’m so behind with this, I’m combining a quick summary with my thoughts on each storyline . . .

Denise and Frank discussed their separation and tried to lay down some ground rules. They agreed they didn’t want to see other people, they’d keep their rings on; but while he was in Iraq they wouldn’t communicate via webcam, would use the phone only for emergency or important situations, but could write. They both agreed not to tell Jeremy until he returned home as well. Jeremy shipped out this week for Iraq, with Frank leaving in a few days. Because of the separation, Frank decided to move out and stay in the officers quarters till he too left. I still feel that one of these two will get hurt in Iraq, and I’m convinced it’s Jeremy. First they already did a scare with Frank last season. Second, this show seems to like to put the wive’s kids in danger it seems. Third, Jeremy told his mom before he left he was well trained and would be okay. Ding ding ding, red light! I think Jeremy is going to be badly hurt, which will serve to bring Denise and Frank back together.

Roxy confided in Roland about Trevor’s problems. He told her she needed to get him to an addiction specialist and support group. Roland then told Joan, who demoted Trevor to a file clerk until he got his pain pill problem under control. Trevor lashed out at Roxy for talking, as she was the only one who thinks he has a pill problem. Roxy then lashed out at Roland for betraying her, sending Trevor further off the deep end. Honestly, what did Roxy expect? Her husband is driving around his pregnant wife! If Roxy had stopped to think, she would have realized SHE should have been the one to tell Joan!

Joan ended up with severe pains and was rushed to the hospital. The wives descended, including Roxy, to be there for Roland. Roxy and Roland of course made up. The baby was delivered by C-section and was okay, but Joan was bleeding and they hadn’t got it under control. They won’t kill Joan will they? I had just started enjoying her, so they best not.

Trevor meanwhile stormed off and ended up leaving Roxy alone, not answering his phone. As it turned out in his drug induced state he ran off the road and crashed his car, waking up the next morning.

Claudia Joy and Michael ended up welcoming Pablo, an old friend of Michael’s. He was an important official from either Mexico or some South American country, I don’t believe it was said. He was there to discuss some important base in his country which was in danger of being shut down. As it turned out, his wife’s company supplied many goods to the base; he wanted Michael to guarantee some contract with her company in order for him to tell his President to keep the base open. They worked something out. Meanwhile Pablo showed a little too much attention to Claudia Joy, which made her feel uncomfortable. It was clear where this was going, as the show closed he attempted to rape her! It appears Claudia Joy saved herself when she grabbed a wine bottle and smashed it over his head, but we won’t know till next week. I am having a bad feeling as to where this is going. They probably won’t be able to prosecute him because of diplomatic immunity. I also foresee Michael getting in trouble for assaulting him.

Pam’s stalker took a few days break, but came back with a vengeance. First he left photos he had taken of her taped to her door, then he called her show again. Pam decided the only thing she could do was lure him out, so she set a trap. Unfortunately he didn’t fall for it. Later when she took her kids to the park, her daughter gave her a rose saying a man gave it to her to give to her mommy. The show ended with Pam at the shooting range! I think someone is going to get shot, especially based on previews of Pam telling Tim she would kill him next time he came around. I’m just having a bad feeling that Pam might end up shooting Chase!
