Wow it feels like it’s been forever since I posted anything about “Private Practice,” probably because it HAS been forever! Anyway, Ausiello shared a few scoops from the ABC/Private Practice Panel at the ABC Summer Press tour.

First up, the show is going to be less “soap” like and return to more of the medical drama, with focus on the doctors and their work.

David Sutcliffe will return this season. He was a detective interested in Addison, but she was too interested in Tim Daly’s character. So who knows what will happen there.

The Dell-Sam-Naomi triangle will heat up. For those who can’t recall cause it’s been SO long, Dell professed his love for Naomi at the end of the season, while Sam basically told him to stay away from her.
