Shannen In At 90210 Again?
Both Michael Ausiello and Kristin over at EW and E!Online are reporting that Shannen Doherty is “in” for the 90210 remake!
Jeanie Garth (Kelly) was the first original cast member to sign on. She’ll be playing a counselor and teacher at the high school. Tori Spelling (Donna) was said to appear in at least the pilot, but now she’s out due to personal reasons. Kristin points out she did just have a baby. It’s unknown if she’ll appear at all now, but it’s been rumored that she wants on the show in a bad way.
Michael broke the news about Shannen (Brenda) being in talks and now Kristin is saying it will happen, the only question is for how many episodes Shannen will appear.
I love this news, as honestly I lost interest in 90210 quickly after Brenda was written off the show. Even though I know she’s “difficult” to work with, I have always loved Shannen and the performances she gives. I’m excited to see her back, I just worry . . . . how well will she be able to handle the fact that it’s not her show anymore and she’s not the main character?
I can’t wait!!! I hope that do a good job w/ this show. It has big shoes to fill. I love jeanie garth, not so much Shannon nor Donna… both of them can come or go, I could care less.

Well, this should be interesting. Putting SD and JG on screen together again should be entertaining. I hope Tori Spelling gets a recurring part in the show as well. I heard she’s going to own her own BH clothing store. I also heard that they’ve starting filming Peach Pit scenes and the original Nat is back as a recurring guest star.
I’m personally thrilled about this new show. Forget adding the new folks, just bring back our favorites!
