This news really has me upset. Andrea Bowen, who plays Susan’s daughter Julie, is officially out on “Desperate Housewives.” She will not be a part of the cast next season!
I had known Lynette’s kids would be going, but I had no idea they would not bring back Julie! Dylan and Bree’s daughter Danielle also are not going to return either.
The possibility for Andrea to return to the show in a later season however has not been all together ruled out.

Why are they jumping 5 years? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE GALE HAROLD, but I was hoping Edie was coming back w/her nephew & getting Bree’s baby. The show still needs the kids to be little, otherwise its just housewives w/too much time on their hands…..I know from experience, I have almost NO time w/4 kids ages 1 thru 9…Than God for Dustin & Tivo….keep up the great work Dustin.. 🙂

I agree momof4. I think it would have been interesting to see Gabby deal with pregnancy and how Tom and Lynette fought (and you know they did) after Kayla left. How does Susan cope with a newborn and not having Julie around? What would have happened if Bree had come back to fight Bree for custody of the baby? So many unanswered questions, but I agree with Dustin. They are probably going to do a series of flashback episodes, which I personally hate. It confuses the story too much to have to differentiate between what is now and what was then.
