Desperate Housewives: Forgiveness
Because I’m behind with writing the mini recaps/thoughts on the various shows I watch, I’m going to simply throw out my thoughts on various stories going on in the shows from the past week. First up is last Sunday’s “Desperate Housewives.”
Gabby fighting with Carlos over the seeing eye dog was humorous, but at this point the story with them isn’t being pushed forward much. I’m beginning to wonder if their story for the season is over and they are just going to be the slapstick comedy of the show for the rest of the time? Oh wait, they have the upcoming boarder ala Justine Bateman. That should be interesting. One good scene involving Edie this week was when she warned Gabby to stop treating Carlos the way she was, as a lot of women would still want to be with him. I think that’s the first time in a while I’ve liked Edie.
Katherine emotionally blackmailed Bree into joining her in a catering business, but at least in this episode, it didn’t go very far. Bree had other issues to tackle. Mike had confronted Orson and learned the truth, but told Susan because of all he’d been forgiven for, he was trying to forgive him too. That’s pretty big of Mike! On one hand I got that line of reasoning, on the other I felt like Orson had become Mike’s friend and that was really a stinging betrayal. Susan then told Bree she would work to forgive Orson as Mike had, but it would take time. Bree told Susan that was admirable they wanted to forgive him, but she couldn’t. Orson moved out! Poor Bree, it seems she just can’t find a good man can she. I have to say when she told that to Susan though, I never loved her more.
Tom continued to tell Lynette that he didn’t set the fire. It seemed like she knew he was telling the truth, but part of her still wondered. I did like that when Rick and Tom ended up in a fight and found themselves at the police station that Lynette stood up for Tom, even if it meant lying to give him an alibi for the fire. It’s about time she show him a little loyalty. Of course as I called it last week, the two devil children, I mean twins, confessed to Lynette that they set the fire to make Rick go away so they wouldn’t get a divorce. Now what will Lynette do? Keep quiet and protect her children or turn them in? If you’ve read the spoilers, you know who apparently is really behind the fire-starters though. Shocked I’m not!
Finally Wayne Davis pulled Dylan over to check her out, as it turns out he’s a cop. So let’s just get it out in the open, why why why did they make him a cop? I love Gary Cole, but seeing him play a bad cop on the show makes me think back to his role on “American Gothic” years ago. Maybe that explains why he didn’t die, he has the devil in him? Okay anyway, Wayne finally admitted to Dylan who he was and that he did hit her mom back then, but apparently she “gave as good as she got.” I’m not exactly sure what that means. Was that him saying Katherine beat the crap out of himtoo , or was that some backwards mentality to justify smacking his wife around? Dylan decided to keep the fact she met her dad from her mom, which I’m thinking probably won’t turn out to be a smart move in the end for her. This story is about to blow!
There’s something not right with this Dylan story. If this cop guy is her dad, then who or what is under the cross made out of stones that Katherine walked to in the woods???
OR
Is this cop guy someone who knows Katherine and is now using Dylan to get back at Katherine for something?? (Hence why he doesn’t want Dylan telling her mom about him.)
QUESTIONS!!!!!

I think the candlestick is under there. My question is who did Susan’s cousin see Kathrine hit the night before he left town? If this guy is Dylan’s father, who did Katherine attack? This is onw of those storylines like the Orson one when he first married Bree. Lots of secrets…..

All I’m getting from the spoiler thing is that Lynette gets accused of child abuse and Edie and Bree are fighting. Not enough coffee or am I totally blind?

Maybe I forgot to put it in. Spoiler!
Kayla pushed the boys to set the fire, or gave them the idea.

I’m sorry but Kayla is evil like her mother…..enough of Gabby being mean, I wished the dog either ate or peed in her shoes!!! we still have time…And as for Katherine, what if she was pregnant & either lost or got rid (not by choice) the baby & he/she are under the cross?

That could have something to do with what looked like murder on that note that was supposed to have been burned.
