Desperate Housewives Go Back To The Future? Rumor Alert!
A rumor is floating around from TVGuide that at the end of this season the show may fast forward five years into the future, and next season it will pick up there. What what what !?! I have to say I don’t think I like this idea at all. First all the kids will pretty much have to be recast, and I love Lynette’s little terrors! I just don’t get this, unless it’s a ratings ploy? Grrrr!

Frankly I can’t stand Lynette’s kids so if that made me see less of them I’d be happy. It would depend on how this was done, though it would make it all a little more believable because really, how much drama can happen to one small street in such a little amount of time.

I don’t believe Mark Cherry is leaving. The show is set to run till 2011 and then end, that is the current schedule.

Very mixed feelings about this idea. It could work, it could be a complete bust. Seeing how “the girls” deal with life in 10+ years could be interesting, but… Lynette’s kids might make us all crazy, but at least they are fiction. Anyone else ever had a “Lynette moment” in real life? lol

I wonder if they are maybe going to do a “cliffhanger” of this and just let us see a glimpse and go back to nowadays after the first episode of the new season. I know some shows have done this in a single episode, but, as with the tornado drama, DH seems to do things bigger and better than other shows. We shall have to wait and see….

day time soaps age kids when they turn 10 to teenage years DH has lost their teenagers so they had to age the Boys
