Rodriguez Joins Ugly Betty

ComingSoon.net is reporting (via the Hollywood Reporter) that Freddy Rodriguez, probably best known for playing Rico in HBO’s “Six Feet Under,” will join “Ugly Betty” next year as a love interest for the star America Ferrara

He was “Frederico” or “Rico” on Six feet under. Love this guy and loved six feet under! 🙂

I liked Henry. I think this might be some kind of attempt to show that “Hey, even ‘Ugly’ Betty can get a handsome man!” or something, as though Henry wasn’t handsome in his own right.

Bleh. I hope it is just a short-lived thing. Someone to keep Betty occupied during the time that Henry is gone. Maybe (MAYBE – though I wouldn’t like it) a season-long romance that culminates into the season finale, when Henry shows up – without Charlie!
