Reality Roundup (Last Week)
I am way late with last week’s Reality Roundup. I honestly didn’t get to see that much I’m afraid. Here is what I watched and what I can remember.
I of course watched my girl Kathy on her show “Life on the D List.” This week Kathy was preforming in Michigan at a Chili Cook-off. Yeah it probably doesn’t get any more D-List than that. She was also having issues selling tickets to her show, and didn’t help matters by dropping the F-bomb in front of perspective ticket buyers. In the end it seemed her show went off okay.
Later Kathy decided she wanted to be photographed by the paparazzi. What better way than go on a date with another D-Lister. She thought that AJ from “The Backstreet Boys” would be a good choice, but he passed. I thought he was married? Anyways she ended up dating Nick Carter. Well not really dating, they went out, she got the photos she wanted. Nick actually tried to kiss her though! Is he serious? What was ironic about this whole thing is when I saw her doing stand-up, after these shows were taped of course, she made fun of Nick and his whole family based on their own reality show “The Carters.” Therefore I couldn’t believe she went out with the guy!
I also tuned into “The Simple Life” this week. Paris and Nicole had to help with girls, teens through six year olds, who wanted to win beauty pageants. Oh lord! One of the mothers got all upset because Nicole taught her 6 year old how to flip the bird. Well you left your kids with Paris and Nicole, be glad that was all they taught them! The second part of beauty pageant school airs this week, with Paris and Nicole deciding the moms of the kids have to compete themselves, which apparently sends them into nervous breakdowns (the moms).
Finally I turned into “Americas Got Talent.” I was actually pleasantly surprised by the acts they put through this week. They weren’t the professional Vegas like acts, but a lot of down to earth regular joes. I liked that! Sharron Osborne is getting on my nerves though.
Kathy LOVED the House of Carters and her humor towards the Carters wasn’t cruel or hateful. In fact in several interviews she said she wanted to help Nick out with his “issues”. Considering her longstanding love for the Backstreet Boys, why is there any question that she would go for a PR date with Nick?

Have you seen Britain’s got talent on You Tube? I like the judge combo better there! Sharon is getting on your nerve and David is starting to get on mine. I kind of find them tacky unlike the judges on American Idol! By the way, why is it that every reality show which involve a panel of judges, has to have one with a British accent?
By the way, checking out the talents of Britains got talent is worth the time! Seems that with all the reruns, I’ve been surfing a bit more lately. I even find myself searching for old Bugs Bunny clips! LOL

LOL Gotta react to Simple Life. Which parents, in their right mind, would accept to be on a show with Paris and Nicole knowing their reputation? I find their reaction kind of hypocritical since they should know what they’re getting into! That’s reality TV I guess, LOL
