Ghost TV Roundup

Ghost TV Roundup

Some quick thoughts on this week’s spook tv!

This week’s “Medium” featured Alison’s husband Joe and daughter Ariel in more staring roles that her for a change. I have to say I totally loved the episode! I always love the ones featuring the kids and their powers. Bridgett Rocks! This one reminded me a lot of probably one of my all time favorite “Mediums,” where Alison saw Lee being shot to death in a restaurant and had to figure out how to save him. When the hostage taker (Aaron?) shot the one guy, I screamed. I did not expect that at all.

On to this week’s “Ghost Whisperer,” I really liked this episode too. It was a good week for spooky TV. Melinda finally confessed her secret to Delia . . . . she’s sees dead people! It took her long enough! I’m glad Delia didn’t completely turn from her, that they worked things out. Still, it seems Delia thinks Melinda may be a little loopy. I couldn’t tell if Delia believed her, or acted like it for her son’s sake. There was no usual “proving” to the family by telling them something Melinda couldn’t have know. I guess we’ll have to keep tuning in to see if Delia believes in Melinda’s talents or not.

The Curse of Sanjaya?

The Curse of Sanjaya?

Posted by Dustin on 04.04.2007 at 11:05 pm

So let’s get the “American Idol” talk out of the way first. Okay I really didn’t like this weeks shows much, simply because of the song choices/style. With that said, what the heck is wrong with America! Gina was my favorite! Now I know she wouldn’t win, but to knock her out when others are still around who shouldn’t be? This is pathetic. I’m at the point where I hope Sanjaya does win just because. Maybe they’ll revamp their rules for voting!

It seems the curse has also spread to “Dancing With The Stars.” I’m sorry, how could Clyde not have been knocked out? And Leeza in the bottom two? Are people watching these shows or just voting for who they like, not who is the best.

As Meredith Grey would say . . . . SERIOUSLY

“Heroes” — Starting April 9th, Hana, the former Mossad operative who can “hear” the Internet, will enlist fans to help with her plans to thwart Linderman’s plots. The top-secret online activity will actually interact with the on-air story and will pay off in the Monday, April 23rd episode, when “Heroes” returns to the NBC lineup. The all-inclusive experience is designed for both fans who have followed the digital storylines from the beginning and for users that are just now joining Hana’s cause.

In addition, fans of “Heroes” who are also submitting their own artwork inspired by the show can view their creations on display in a gallery on NBC.com.

As another new feature, viewers and users have been asked to submit their “theories” about what’s really going on in the enigmatic world of “Heroes.” Selected video theories are being used in on-air promos and will continue through the return of “Heroes” on April 23rd.

Way cool, I can’t wait to try this out!

Brothers and Sisters: Drama At The Dinner Table!

Brothers and Sisters: Drama At The Dinner Table!

Posted by Dustin on 04.02.2007 at 11:58 am

So last night we finally got a new episode of ABC’s “Brothers and Sisters.” I have it on Tivo and need to rewatch it as I was trying to mult-task during it. I’m sure I missed some juicy details. The show focused on two separate dinners, the dinner at the Walker home welcoming Rebbecca and Senator McAllister attempting to introduce Kitty to his kids.

First up, Sarah is getting on my every last nerve! She can be a bitch to Holly all she wants, but don’t take it out on Rebbecca who is also a victim! I loved that Nora told Rebbecca that this was William’s fault, not hers and not her mom’s. Well okay Holly could be blamed a little 🙂

Kevin was an ass as well at the dinner. On one hand I understand he’d want proof that this was in fact their sister. On the other, there is probably a more tactful way of doing it. Tommy on the other hand is FAR too trusting. He’s been lured in by Holly and her so called “plans” that William laid out for Tommy and the wine orchard. I wouldn’t be surprised if we learn she’s full of it.

Over to poor Kitty, who got treated like dirt by the Senator’s daughter. Then she got treated like dirt by the Senator himself. Has Kitty ruined her relationship with him? Doubtful, Rob Lowe seems to be a big part of the show’s future. We all know his brother, played by Days’ Eric Winter, is soon to join the show!

Speaking of Eric Winter’s character, it looks like he will become a possible date for Kevin. Poor Kevin, just when it looked like he had kicked Chad the cad to the curb he seemed to crawl back to him at the end by calling him up. Will Kevin ever find a love?

Speaking of love, what is going on with Nora and her professor? I like the carpenter (Treat Williams) way better! Why can’t they bring him back? Maybe a love triangle for Nora?

Grey’s Spin-off Details Leaked!

Grey’s Spin-off Details Leaked!

The LA Times leaked an article on the premise of Kate Walsh (Adisson’s) Grey’s spin-off. In it Adisson heads to Santa Monica where former med school pals have set up shop (Taye Diggs, Merrin Dungey). She finds life out there different, not as perfect as first glance and apparently decides to stay! There have been rumors Tim Daly may be part of this spin-off, and someone told me they heard Izzy Stevens could go to. Say it ain’t so, they can’t break up Grizzy!
