Kristin Chenoweth (Tony award winner for “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” and also known as the original Glinda in “Wicked”) will guest star on the season finale on May 17th as an orthodontic technician who gets way too involved in Betty’s life.

I realized I completely forgot to blog about the Bravo shows this week!
Well “Top Design” came to an end, and thank the stars that Matt won. I cannot believe Carissa made it to the end! I don’t know how well it did in ratings and if they’ll bring it back for a second season. It was entertaining, but it was no “Project Runway.” I can’t wait till they bring PR back.
I watched the first episode of “Shear Genius,” which is like all the other Bravo reality shows but this time dealing with hairstyling. I didn’t get it. I mean that challenge at the end, it was like hairstyle for people on crack or something. Who would EVER want to look like that? Okay sure, if you were in an 80s rock band them some of the styles would have worked. But for a day to day hairdo? Are all the challenges going to be that crazy?
Finally over to “Workout.” Okay Jackie dumped the girlfriend and has now become a little slut! She’s bouncing from Rebbecca to unknowns. Next week it looks like Jesse calls Rebbecca a slut and gets water thrown on him. Yes! That’s drama right there. Also this week we found out Doug went into the hospital right after his birthday and ended up near death. This is just creepy considering he had just passed the birthday that neither parent lived to. CREEPY! Of course the sad part is we know the outcome of this. Doug unfortunately passed away during the filming of this season. I know this is going to be a Kleenex episode coming up!

Ugly Betty Gets Some Electric Help

The fabulous Rita Moreno is set to guest star on three episodes of “Ugly Betty” in May. Those in my age bracket probably know Rita best for screaming “Hey You Guys!” on PBS’s “The Electric Company.”
Rita will also be joined by Justina Machado (best known from Six Feet Under). The duo will play Aunt Mirta and Cousin Clara, members of the Suarez family when everyone takes a little trip to Mexico.
Also appearing in the episode is Rebecca Gayheart (McSteamy on Grey’s real life wife). She’ll play a woman that Alex/Alexis used to date!

This coming Sunday it seems Susan finds herself in a bit of a jam in a watery stunt and unfortunately Ian can’t save her . . . cause he can’t swim! Not to worry, Mike the plumber jumps to the rescue, sans shirt. The Extra TV Clip is above (at the moment I can’t seem to get the clip to run though)
Medium: Mrs. Oompa loompa Did It!

I’m not really sure how I felt about tonight’s episode. Last week was so good, tonight’s not so much. I guess I didn’t really like that Alison’s brother kinda took over as the focus. I also did not like the father/victim at all, he was an ass so I couldn’t really have much sympathy for him. The only likable person in that family was the poor mom.
I did however love the story with Bridgette and Joe. Her mean math teacher broke her daddy’s window and she wanted her to go to jail. She should have! I also liked that it was Joe who figured out her dream, not Alison. That was a good twist.
I Love To Dance, I Love To Sing

So last night on “Dancing With The Stars” it was time to say goodbye to Leeza. She really was kinda boring this week unfortunately, but what is with Clyde not even making it into the bottom two ever? I’m telling you, it’s the curse of Sanjaya!
Over to “American Idol,” well it pains me to say it but Sanjaya was actually a lot better than a lot of the contestants this week. I’m still fuming over Gina’s departure! Why I continue to watch this show I don’t know. Yes I do, it’s to see what Sanjaya will do next. If/when he’s voted off will it even be worth watching anymore?
I wasn’t shocked that Hailey left tonight. I figured it would be either her or Phil that went home. Phil will probably be gone next week though. Speaking of next week, it’s country week! Oh lord I don’t even want to know what Sanjaya will sing.

Desperate Housewives: Panties and Bras

So Susan met the in-laws and learned her soon to be father-in-law has a penchant for putting on woman’s undies. Kinky! I almost feel sorry for the mother-in-law, who thinks her husband is cheating on her, but she’s such a bitch I just can’t feel bad for her. I loved how Susan got out of signing the prenup!
Mike obviously gave up on the remembering thing because it was too hard, better to forget Susan I guess. I’m sure something will happen to bring his memories back. I also have a really bad feeling Ian is going to do something to Mike. This poor guy always seems to end up in a bind at the end of every season doesn’t he?
I don’t know how I feel about Eddie and Carlos. I had hopes Gabrielle and Carlos would work things out. Also what is with Eddie going for all the other women’s husbands? Eww!
So with Tom in the hospital, Lynette stepped up and put on the ugly orange shirt in order to run the restaurant. What ever happened to that demon spawn girl of Tom’s they were raising? She hasn’t been seen much lately.
Brothers and Sisters: Kids!
Posted by Dustin on 04.09.2007 at 6:30 pm
So last night we got a new “Brothers and Sisters.” It was sooooooo good! Where to even begin? Some quick thoughts.
Nora’s professor is a sleazeball. I am not liking him at all and you can see Nora is into him in spite the fact she knows he is a sleaze. I’ll say it again, bring back the contractor! Maybe they thought that was too “Desperate Housewives” and ditched it? I don’t know, but I liked them a lot more.
Kitty went looking for dirt on McAlister and only found that he really is a good guy. However her admission of love got McAlister to admit he really doesn’t remember his heroic helicopter rescue that well. Why am I seeing a “Swift boat vets” storyline coming up with this one?
For a split second I thought McAlister was going to be father of the high school kid throwing the party. Really good twist they pulled off there, not the usual predictable plot.
Justin tried to be Rebecca’s friend, but she only wanted to get drunk and high, in spite of the fact that he’s a recovering addict. Nice way to treat the one sibling who is nice to you! Next week it looks like she’s putting the moves on Sarah’s husband. Hussy! Just like her mother! I’m disliking Rebbecca more and more.
Kevin finally told Chad off, about time! Chad then went and came out of the closet, only to decide to dump Kevin. Obviously he’s ready to play the field and tried to remain friends with benefits with Kev. Good for Kev telling him no way!
